We had a great Easter weekend. I finished up Spring Training work on Saturday afternoon. We went to a Saturday night mass which lasted 2 1/2 hours, many baptisms and confirmations into the church. We decided to go to Disney on Easter Sunday, but canceled because my son was coughing. This happens with children. We watched a couple of movies from Red Box and relaxed for the day.
I hope everybody else had a great Easter weekend. Many of you had a three day weekend and hopefully are ready to return to work. If you are religious, you know Easter is not about the Easter Bunny. My kids still love chocolate bunnies and Easter egg hunts, but they know the true meaning of Easter.
The way this world is going, we all need to teach our children the importance about holidays like Easter. It was nice to see some stores and markets were still closed for the day. The way this country is going, who knows what tomorrow will bring. Enjoy holidays like Easter with your family and remember that Jesus died for us and rose from the dead, so we can meet him one day in Heaven. God bless and hope your Easter was fun.....
