Namaste Foods Review and Giveaway 5/14/2013

The Namaste Foods Company sent me some food to try out and review. They sent me Gluten Free Hot 'N Spicy Coating Mix. I used this mix on some chicken breast. You put some mix in a bag (provided) then you put the chicken in the bag. You mix it together like the old shake and bake foods of the past. I cooked my chicken breast and ate it. The mix was spicy and tasty. It wasn't too spicy, to the point where you cannot breathe. I like the mix because it is low in fat, carbs and has some dietary fiber and a touch of protein. It is also loaded with Vitamin C, 510 percent per serving. The mix also has no cholesterol and each serving is only 40 calories. The best part was it tasted good. I also learned that you can put just enough spice into the bag for your own single serving if you would like

For desert, I was sent Gluten Free Blondie Mix. I had to mix three eggs, water and oil, put the mix in two pans and bake it in the oven at 350 degrees for forty minutes. I never tasted Blondie's, they are sort of like vanilla brownies. If you like a vanilla like cake

Before Pictures With Revolt Workout

I weight about 205 pounds, I have been working out my entire life. Now I am forty-eight and it is much harder to keep in good shape. I believe it is because of my diet. I have never kept to a good diet, ever. I joined this Revolt Workout to learn how to stick to a good diet. No more pizza or Diet Pepsi. These will likely be the toughest parts of this for me. Here are a couple of before pictures of me taken by my nine year old son Kyle
I'm not in horrible shape, but I want to be 190 pounds instead of 205 pounds.

Yes, I have done all of the workouts over the years, but I have never kept to a good diet. The doctor says my heart is great shape, but I want to make sure I am still healthy when I am in my 70's and 80's. Some of you want to lose weight and get in shape. Take it from my experience, hook up with a good diet now and live a healthy life. When you get older, it gets much harder to give up the things you love......

What I Learned About My Diet Habits

I am in the middle of taking the 90 day diet challenge. I have lost four or five pounds in less than a month. I have also noticed habits within my own diet.

I love red meat
I love Diet Pepsi
I am a snacker
My schedule is not made for good diet habits

I am slowly learning how to eat correctly. I have been drinking a ton of water and I have been trying to stay away from Diet Pepsi. I am also choosing to eat better foods that are actually good for me. I still have a hope to cut my weight down to 190 pounds. I am right around 205 pounds at this moment.

Diets are tough, but I hope to keep my self on a good diet for the rest of my life. Now, I am adding more exercise to my diet. I am starting with walking and other exercises fit for a middle-aged man. I will check back in another thirty days, hopefully I will be below 200 pounds at that time.....

Weather Changes Do Have An Affect On Arthritis

Weather Changes Can Put Pressure on Arthritis

Study shows RA patients feel more pain on humid days
Weather Changes Can Put Pressure on Arthritis
By Arthritis Connect StaffA Published at March 20 Views 119 Comments 1 Likes 1
Can the weather affect how you feel? Many arthritis patients say it does. In fact, some believe that changes in the weather influence their symptoms, particularly pain and stiffness. And some say they can even predict the weather based on their symptoms.
New research suggests these patients may be on to something, especially when their symptoms change based on barometric pressure.

What is Barometric Pressure?

The weight of the air pressing down on the earth and oceans produces air pressure, which is measured using a barometer. Meteorologists often rely on barometric pressure readings to predict the forecast. Low pressure indicates cooler, mild temperatures, whereas high pressure means high humidity.

Pressure and Pain

In a study of residents of Cordoba City, Argentina, a warm climate, scientists examined the relationship between weather and joint pain in 151 people with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and joint pain. The study also involved 32 residents without joint pain.
Over the course of one year, participants with arthritic conditions reported mild pain on cooler (low pressure) days. However, RA patients felt more pain on humid (high pressure) days. The weather appeared to have no effect on the control group.
Other studies suggest that weather-based pain does not relate to changes in air pressure but more to the patient's perception of pain. Nonetheless, that feeling is real.

Can You Relieve the Pressure?

Overall, the research indicates that high humidity often creates an unfavorable environment for patients. Of course, moving to a cooler, more temperate climate is not that easy. But knowing in advance that high pressure might be coming can help patients prepare for any increased pain.

Check Out These Cool Personalized Baby Gifts

It is always cool when a family member or friend has a baby. My sister and law and her husband are expecting in the middle of the year. The entire family is excited. My wife and I love to check out places to buy gifts for her sister and their new baby. I found a site that deals with personalized baby gifts that are perfect for a new mother. This site has some cool Customize baby books, growth charts, birth announcements, wall art, placemats, cards, birth certificate wall art, and baby shower invitations and thank you cards. The perfect collection of gifts for that baby shower we will be going to in the near future.

I like the assortment of gifts on this website. My sister in law would love some new books for her baby. I remember my wife would read to our children when they were very small. Both of my children are way ahead of the other kids in reading, I believe this is because of my wife reading to them. I like how you can personalize all of the baby gifts. The growth charts are cool If you have kids, you know they love to see how they are growing. I also like the princess gifts. My daughter believed she was a princess from the moment she could talk. She is almost seven and pink is still her favorite color. These gifts are cool, I believe my sister in law would love to check out this website.

Washdrops Eco Friendly Car Wash Products Review And Giveaway 5/5/2013

We are a family that believes Earth Day should be all year round. We try to save water, we collect aluminum cans and we put newspapers, bottles and such to into the container to be picked up and recycled. I am always looking for ways to save our environment and go green. We are trying to do our part to save our earth and we hope you do to. We plan to plant two or three new trees this year.

The Washdrops Company sent me an assortment of products to wash my car. The most important ingredients were their Washdrops, below will tell you a bit about this Eco Friendly cleaner.

When I was given a chance to try Washdrops, I jumped at the opportunity. The product came in the mail and my children and I decided it was time to wash our car. We used about one ounce of the Washdrops product in a bucket and added two gallons of water. My children and I washed the car and dried it. I was amazed at how well the Washdrops cleaned the car. The car was cleaned much better than it was with regular car cleaning products we buy from the store. The best part was we saved a ton of water and my children had fun. I used the dirty water and watered my tree. This is the best Eco-Friendly product I have ever had an opportunity to use. This is likely why Washdrops won the Green Award 2012 Product of the year.
