Another Car Repair In The State Of Texas

You know how I like to travel. When I was a kid, I used to count all the states I had been to. I remember when I got half way through all the states as a teenager. There were a few states I wanted to go to and I reached some of those states over the years. My brother was stationed in Lawton, Oklahoma twenty five years ago. He wanted me to visit him, so I took the trip. I traveled from Cincinnati to Oklahoma without taking a break. I eventually had to stop because my car puttered out. I was really tired and found myself in Texas instead of Oklahoma. I broke down in Texas and I wasn't even supposed to visit the place. That was okay though because I wanted to visit Texas anyway. I searched for Auto Repair Austin, found a couple of places and had my car towed to the closest.

I was tired when we reached the auto repair shop. I had been traveling for eighteen hours straight and I was lost. I needed to get my car fixed and I needed to get some rest. The guy at the shop told me where a hotel was within walking distance. It was late, so he said he would check out my car in the morning. I went to the hotel, checked in and fell to sleep as soon as I hit the bed. I woke up the next morning to a ringing phone. The car repair shop called the hotel searching for me. They connected me and I asked him what was wrong. He told me there was a problem with my transmission. It was going to cost me five hundred bucks to fix my car. I found out the shop were transmission experts by asking around. I also called my brother and told him my situation. He hung up the phone asking me how in the world I found my way to Austin, Texas.

I eventually made it to my brother's house. My car worked fine the rest of the trip and I had plenty of time to see both Texas and Oklahoma. My brother hugged me when I pulled up at his house. He thought it was funny that I broke down in Texas. I told him if he thought it was so funny, maybe he should pay the bill. This shut him up. The best news was my vacation was for two weeks, the visit was fun and my car made it back to Cincinnati without another problem. Two more states were crossed off my list of states I needed to visit.
