Dr. Pops Therapeutic All Natural Lollipops For Kids

My kids and I had the chance to review a couple of boxes of Dr. Pops all natural lollipops made for children to help them deal when they are sick.

Dr. Pops are allergy safe for those with nut, egg, and shellfish allergies. Sucking is a primitive instinct and a way that we are able to calm ourselves. The pairing of sucking along with healthy vitamins and nutrients in the lollipops, allows for even more calming and restorative effects. The ingredients: Honey, Zinc, and Vitamin C are all well-known for their positive benefits.

The Dr Pops range of ‘lollipops’ is a therapeutic range of lozenges on a stick which are specifically formulated for children.
Sucking is one of the most primitive instincts we have as infants and provides comfort instantly. So when a sick child is presented with a pleasant tasting ‘lollipop’, there is instant compliance and a feeling of being comforted and given a treat (even before the therapeutic benefit has set in).
With the added goodness of essential nutrients, Dr. Pops lollipops provide a great tasting all-natural treat that kids love.
  • No added sugar
  • No preservatives
  • No artiļ¬cial colors
You know about the lollipops now. As far as the kids, I and the taste. Two important things. These lollipops don't have much sugar. I am pre-diabetic and I used to suck on Vitamin C drops constantly before I found out. My children did too. This product is all natural and actually has a great taste. My daughter loves the lollipops. I tried both of them and also enjoyed both.

A note about the company. The people reached out to me and are very kind, positive and really stand behind their great product. It has been a pleasure dealing with them.

I did receive a sample of their product for free and this is my honest opinion about what I think about this great product

Treat Mesothelioma Guest Post

How to Improve Prognosis for Stage 4 Mesothelioma At stage 4, mesothelioma has reached its most advanced level. Typically, by the time mesothelioma cancer reaches the 4th stage, the cancer cells have already begun to spread to distant organs like the kidneys, liver, and heart via the lymphatic system and this spread causes new tumors to develop on the tissue lining of those organs (known as the mesothelium). Although stage 4 mesothelioma may not be considered curable, there are procedures and medications that can be used to improve a patient’s prognosis while reducing the severity of their symptoms. Diagnosis At stage 4 mesothelioma cancer has already metastasized. Cancer cells have already begun to divide and produce tumors in the distant parts of the patient’s body. Its symptoms are more severe, persistent, and significant. Any palliative care is usually given to reduce the symptoms while improving the quality of life of the patient. Although several treatments can be used in stage 4 mesothelioma patients, none of them are aimed at treating or curing the disease. They are aimed at relieving severe symptoms and pain. Symptoms of stage 4 mesothelioma In some cases, symptoms of mesothelioma are not diagnosed until the disease reaches stage 4. This can be attributed to the fact that latency time for mesothelioma can be up to 50 years. Additionally, symptoms can emerge slowly while mimicking those of other conditions until they become severe. Nevertheless, stage 4 mesothelioma has specific and severe symptoms. These include:  Weight loss  Fever  Lethargy  Dyspnea  Persistent and severe cough  Severe abdominal, testicular or chest pain  Swelling of the scrotum or abdomen  Cancer symptoms in other organs  Organ failure symptoms Ways to Improve a Mesothelioma Prognosis Since the mesothelioma at this point has indeed metastasized, it has a very poor prognosis. The average life expectancy of stage 4 mesothelioma patients is only 6 months. Nevertheless, there are cases where patients get incorrect staging despite the initial prognosis being poor. That’s why it is always important to get a second opinion. This ensures that patients do not dismiss curative procedures as inappropriate. Consultation or treatment from an experienced mesothelioma specialist will give the patient the most accurate diagnosis and information. Although most doctors do not usually recommend surgery for treating stage 4 mesothelioma, there are other ways of improving a patient’s stage 4 mesothelioma prognosis. Please watch the following video as it explains and touches on all topics concerning mesothelioma life expectancy and prognosis: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eNnDZUBYjXk

Treatment Options To Improve A Patient’s Life Expectancy These are basically treatments that aim at keeping mesothelioma under control while relieving symptoms. In most cases, removal of the fluid that builds up close to the primary tumor is the procedure that is used to improve the prognosis. This procedure has varying names depending on the cancer and tumor location:  Paracentesis: This entails draining fluid from the abdominal area and is performed when the patient has peritoneal mesothelioma.  Thoracentensis: This involves draining fluid from the patient’s chest / lungs and is performed when the patient has pleural mesothelioma.  Pericardiocentesis: This entails draining fluid from the area that surrounds the patient’s heart and is performed when the patient has pericardial mesothelioma. This fluid is drained through the insertion of a thin, hollow needle that collects fluid from the affected area. Bothersome symptoms are usually alleviated with this procedure though the relief is usually temporary. In addition to these procedures, getting palliative or supportive care improves prognosis as well. Oxygen therapy, pain medications, coupled with any alternative therapies for mesothelioma can do wonders for improving a patient’s quality of life. When it comes down to it, remember to always consult with a MESOTHELIOMA SPECIALIST. Yes, that is in ALL CAPS for a reason. A family doctor or general oncologist should simply not be in charge of your treatment plan as they do not have the training or knowledge to understand what treatments are best for you. Getting the care from an experienced mesothelioma specialist is perhaps your best foot forward to obtaining the absolute best treatment plan possible for your condition.

When Jesus Was a Green-Eyed Brunette Brook Review

I had the opportunity to read When Jesus Was a Green-Eyed Brunette written by Max Davis.  I like the stories about how Jesus shows up in the lives of normal people like you and I. Charlie The Tramp Book Review and Giveaway 12/12/2016

I had the opportunity to review Charlie The Tramp. I thought it was funny when my daughter asked me why would any parent let their kid become a tramp. Of course, the character isn't a human kid, Charlie is a beaver who wants to be a Tramp when he grows up. Charlie did not want to grow up and do all the hard work beavers do. So his parents let him try out the Tramp deal. Charlie comes home from Tramping, does work for food, finally he decides to build his own Beaver Dam. And decides that sometimes he would be a Tramp and at other times he would build a pond.

Very cute book that every child should read. They might ask you odd questions like my daughter asked. You could win a copy of this great book by entering the giveaway. Would be a nice Christmas Present for a young loved one.

Christmas Love Letters From God Book Review

CHRISTMAS LOVE LETTERS from God:
Written for children ages four to eight, Christmas Love Letters from God cleverly combines both prose and poetry as the story of Jesus’ birth unfolds. The book includes seven stories, beginning with Isaiah’s prophecy and ending with the visit of the wise men. Following each story, the child will find his or her own letter from God, folded into a small envelope attached to the page. Each letter begins with a space in which to write the child’s name, so each one can be specially addressed to the child.
Written as if God is speaking, each personalized message gives the young reader a sense of wonder as they discover anew the Christmas holiday and the birth of Jesus. A very special Bible verse, entitled God’s Perfect Promise, also accompanies each story and letter as God’s personal words of love, promise, and hope.

"Disclosure (in accordance with the FTC’s 16 CFR, Part 255: “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising”): Many thanks to Propeller Consulting, LLC for providing this prize for the giveaway. Choice of winners and opinions are 100% my own and NOT influenced by monetary compensation. Now this book is a very cute idea for children. You have an assortment of Bible stories and you bring the children into the story when they receive a love letter from God straight from the Bible. This book is very creative and I believe it will help children grow closer to God. This is the perfect book for my nine year old daughter. She loves to read and she loves God. My daughter also loves Bible stories. I could also see this book used in church for Children's church. Into today's world, children have so many things blasting them. My kids with their iPads which leads to Google and other things that take up their time. My kids had to be on a cruise for five nights without internet or telephones. We got back to board games and found other ways to have fun. I think books like this can do the same thing. Take children away from the internet and television for awhile and actually be touched by God with personal letters from his Word. Even though this book is geared to 4-8 years old, my daughter and I still love going through it together.

Is The 2016 Presidential Election Rigged?

I watched the debate last night. Trump gave us his plan and Hillary dodged most of the questions. After it was over, the only thing people were talking about was whether or not Trump would concede the election. I think this is a clue that this election may be rigged more than any election we have seen in modern history. Here's why.

Every poll you see has Hillary way ahead of Trump, even though she doesn't answer questions, lies, lies, lies some more, and her political history is horrible. Trump said she is a horrible woman and she is doing everything possible to prove his point.  It seems to me whenever I turn on the television, every channel tells me that Clinton will win, Trump cannot win no matter what. It makes me think Trump is right and the media is trying to suppress the vote. I will vote for Trump anyway and hope my vote counts.

Not only are the Democrats against Trump, many Republicans are either against Trump or are not supporting him. Who needs enemies if you have friends like this? Also the media is against Trump. Fox News who claims to be fair and balanced, seem to love to throw punches at Trump. This makes for a very interesting election.

Wikileaks shows that the Clinton campaign is paying people to go into Trump rallies and start fights. Makes you wonder if they also hired people to fire bomb and destroy some of Trumps places of campaign business that we see on the news. The only thing you see on the news about Trump is bad news.

Like I said, I watched the debate, Trump won by a mile and many television stations are still saying Hillary Clinton had another win. Sorry, I thought it was the season premiere of The Walking Dead. When asked a question, Hillary stared into space like a zombie. She had a glare in her eyes. Are we really going to have to do drug tests before Presidential Debates in the future?

Also, many conservative talk show hosts are not supporting Donald Trump. Glenn Beck supported Cruz and spends three hours a day making fun of Trump, which does nothing but push his fans towards Hillary Clinton.

Many people believe the Hillary people used woman to say Trump groped them to make woman voters hate Donald Trump.

Voter Fraud-I believe there is and will be plenty of voter fraud in this election. Hillary Clinton will do whatever it takes to win this election. It may not matter, but I will vote for Trump because I am sick of the way politicians act towards the people of America. Donald Trump is not a politician and this is why many politicians are against him. They don't think it is fair that a man (who is not a politician) got the nod to run for President of The United States. Is the election rigged? Well you already told us Hillary won three weeks before the election, so what do you think?

Trump, Pence, Hillary and Kaine, My View Of The Candidates

When I looked at the candidates for President, I came up with my own view of the candidates. This is what I think when I look at Trump, Pence, Hillary and Kaine.

Donald Trump-Donald Trump is not a politician, he is a businessman. I look at Trump and I see a businessman who has been very successful. He loves beautiful woman, you can see that by his wife and his past relationships. I believe Trump is a normal man's man. He is a hard worker who tells the truth in a very blunt way. This gets himself in trouble at times, but you always know where he stands. To me Trump is believable because he always does what he says he is going to do. He wants to make America great again and I believe he actually will if he becomes President.

Mike Pence-Pence is a religious man who is also a politician. When I look at Pence, I see a conservative man who believes in the same things I believe in. I could see Pence as a preacher or minister in a church, but he is running with Trump to be Vice President of the United States.

Hillary Clinton-I see a life long Politician who has done whatever it takes to get where she is. She rode into politics on the shoulder of her husband. I believe Hillary would be a fantastic lawyer for people who are injured or are making believe they are injured. Hillary will do whatever it takes to win, regardless if the individual is guilty or not. She will do whatever it takes to be President, including lying and cheating. This is who Hillary is and this is who she will always be. And no, I don't like her and can't believe she is the best thing the Democrats could come up with this time around.

Tim Kaine-Tim Kaine is a lifelong politician that fights for Liberal causes. When I look at Tim Kaine, I see a used car salesman. You meet him, he talks a good talk, sells you the car and makes you feel good about your purchase. However, when you get home, you find out there are all kinds of things wrong, but Tim refuses to stand behind his vehicles. He is a great talker, but watch your back.

This is how I look at these candidates. I think each one have their own strengths and weaknesses, although I admit I have seen nothing but weakness from Clinton for many years. I think Pence is the strongest when it comes to character, Trump is the strongest when it comes to business and creating jobs, Kaine knows his way in Washington, but don't trust him, he will break your heart. Hillary does everything wrong and gets a pass from everybody except for Donald Trump. Her greatest strength is putting people down and making herself look good, when there is nothing there of substance.

The Afters - Live on Forever Bio:
It’s easy to assume stories of trial and triumph are just for the Bible or the history books. But miracles still happen, even when adversity hits hardest. Just ask Josh Havens, guitarist and lead vocalist of The Afters. He relates how the band’s latest effort, Live on Forever, began during a season of tragedy.

Just as the band regrouped to record, Havens witnessed the wife of a close friend contract cancer. Drummer Jordan Mohilowski (who produced the new album) had a brief health scare, and a close companion in his church—part of the worship team—was hit and killed by an impaired driver. She was a young woman, Havens says, who had unlimited potential.

But Live on Forever–the band’s fifth with the Fair Trade label-still took shape as a celebration of faithfulness, protection and promise—one that shimmers with strong rhythms, undeniable energy and compelling pop hooks. The album finds Havens in strong, soaring voice as he invites listeners to find shelter and strength in God. “If any theme has emerged, it would be ‘inspiration and motivation,’” Havens says.

Havens himself felt a deep need to hold on after another loss struck: The band’s longtime soundman, Anthony Martinez, saw his newborn daughter die in infancy.

Ask Havens to pick out a song that sums up the spirit of the album, and he chooses “Battles.” “It was the last song we wrote and the fastest we wrote,” he says. “We don’t typically write songs fast; we’ll change lyrics and melodies and craft our songs carefully. But ‘Battles’ poured out, the music and lyrics, in one day. It’s about standing up against fear and knowing God is always with us,” Havens explains. “It’s one of the takeaways we hope people get: ‘Don’t give up to fear.

Havens shares how, half a world away from his home in Phoenix, he caught a small glimpse of heaven’s reassurance. The place: downtown Amsterdam. The occasion: a dinner between shows with band members and spouses—including soundman Martinez and his wife. For their baby daughter, the Martinez couple had chosen an unusual moniker with an unusual spelling: Pieper. Against all odds, it also happened to be exactly how the intimate restaurant they dined at spelled its name. Still, no one was prepared for what happened at the end of the meal. “We were talking about baby Pieper, and as we got up to leave, we noticed that the only thing on the walls—the only thing—was a framed document, an award for hospitality. And the date on the award—the only date in the place—was Pieper’s birthday. Her mother just started bawling.” Havens sums up the reassurance all took home that night: “We thought, ‘This is where God’s angels fly: right in the middle of the loss.’ God gives us little glimpses to show us he’s here.”

“We worked on this record for almost two years and over those two years, it was a real season of loss,” Havens recalls. “But in the end, Live on Forever is about moving us to trust God, to stand up against fear. It’s an ‘ante up’ record, an anthem for people’s lives: ‘God you are with me in all this. I’m not alone.’”

I had the chance to review this great CD. I actually never heard of this group, but did hear some of their songs. I think it's because i'm old school when it comes to Christian Music, like Amy Grant and PETRA. This CD gives us what we need as Christians. A CD filled with songs we can sing along with that have plenty of meaning. I had cancer in my kidney and nearly bleed out after the operation. I think we all have had close calls, lost people close to us or know of somebody who has gone through things that make us appreciate our lives. This CD helps you to appreciate the life we have waiting for us in heaven.

Unashamed Healing Our Brokenness and Finding Freedom From Shame 7/9/2016

We live in a society filled with shame. God is always there to forgive us, but many are not willing to bring their shame to God. This book by Heather Davis Nelson shows us how to bring our shame to Jesus and allow Him to remove it from our lives.

I believe our world is like it is because many of us (including Christian's) keep all of our shame inside and do not bring it to Jesus. I had a friend who died from cancer years ago. He was a great Christian man, gospel music writer and a great example to me. During those last days, he struggled with his past in the Mafia and constantly told me he did not deserve to go to Heaven. If we count on ourselves to go to Heaven, none of us will make it. Heather shows us to bring our shame to Jesus, he will take it from us and heal us from within.

This book was cool for a middle-aged man like myself. At my age, you look at the past and find all kinds of things you can be ashamed of. I'm learning to bring everything to Jesus because none of us are strong enough (by ourselves) to deal with all of it. Great book that leads you to Jesus, who will help you heal from everything you are dealing with in your personal life.

Heather Davis Nelson (MA, Westminster Theological Seminary) is a writer, counselor, and speaker. Heather writes regularly at HeatherDavisNelson.com and has been a featured writer at the Gospel Coalition, as well as a contributing author to the Journal of Biblical Counseling. She and her husband are parents to twin daughters and live in southeastern Virginia.

My daughter loves books and we love books that teach her Biblical principles. Esther The Belle of Patience is part of a series of books that highlight superhero women of the Bible. This book teaches all of us how to be patient and uses Esther and her life as the example. It is fun to read this story straight from the Bible, this book brings the story to life. I love how the author brought the story from Bible times and into our world.

Our world is not getting any better. I live less than eighty miles from the spot in Orlando where 49 people were murdered by a evil person who hates America. Our children are bombarded with sad worldly information from every direction. They see and hear so many things they should never hear and see. Books like this bring them back to the Bible and teach them how special people in the Bible acted because of their faith in God. I love this story in the Bible and in this fantastic book. My daughter loves it too and can't wait to see the actual book. You should see her as these books come to our door. She is ready to tear the packages open to see the next book.

Principles and Procedures That Can Make Your Company More Successful

Almost every business owner wants her business to become incredibly successful. However, the growth process will not transpire in a magical way. Rather, company leaders attain substantive success by implementing principles and procedures that are known for yielding incredible results. Here are just three of many strategies that can help your company attain ever-increasing levels of success:

1. Update Your Equipment.

Updating your equipment is a wonderful way to ensure that your company remains on the path to ever-increasing levels of success. This is the case because using the best equipment on the block is a great way to optimize your company's daily operations. If you use old, outdated equipment, you will oftentimes find that it takes longer to perform routine tasks. This elongated task completion process can detract from your ability to get things done quickly and correctly, thereby impeding your ability to devote energy to other money-making endeavors. For these reasons and more, regularly updating your equipment should be an integral component of the way your organization does business. In the event that your company makes use of vacuum metallizing equipment, you can obtain new products and services from organizations like Vergason Technology, Inc.

2. Optimize Your Networking Methodology.

Although many business owners realize that networking plays an integral role in company growth, they don't all take time to optimizing their approach to this strategy. Yet you should. Doing so helps ensure that you can attract and retain the attention of more and more prospective clients. One great way to optimize your networking methodology is by taking a public speaking course. Doing so can give you confidence regarding your abilities to speak about your company's goods and services in front of other people.

3. Market Via Internet.

One final strategy you can deploy to keep your business growing is online marketing. This technique is important because it enables you to make your brand awareness campaign global in scope. Additionally, taking your brand online empowers you to provide your target market with instant updates regarding the company. This will help your business maintain the cutting edge, contemporary image that makes you relevant in a fast-paced, perpetually evolving world.

Conclusion

If you want to make your company increasingly successful with each passing year, utilizing the principles and procedures outlined above can help you realize the goal. I had the pleasure to review Phil Wickham Children Of God CD. This is for sure a worship CD, with plenty of songs that will bring you closer to God. I am a music lover, but like harder Christian music than this. I do find however, that the Children of God CD was enjoyable and I found myself singing to some of the songs the second time through. I heard a couple of the songs in our church, so the CD was a bit familiar before I listened to it. This is the type of CD I throw in when I have listened to the loud music and want to quietly worship God. My children also enjoyed the CD and my daughter loves to sing the songs.
