Chili, Fit For My Kids

My son love my chili. It is very simple and not very spicy. Here is the simple recipe.

Chili Fit For A Kid

1 pound of ground beef (we use 88 percent)
one can of spicy chili beans (the only spice we use in the chili)
1 46 ounce jar of tomato or vegetable juice
white rice (the amount is up to you)
saltines

we cook the rice in the rice cooker. very simple procedure. white rice and water, the cooker does the rest of the work.

cook the frozen ground beef and cut it up into small pieces while cooking. drain the beef. cook the tomato juice in another pot, put the beans in the pot, put the cooked ground beef into the pot. Let it come to a boil, lower to simmer and cook for about 2 hours. The rice takes about twenty minutes, so cook it when you are about ready to serve the chili.

take the rice and place it in a bowl, pour chili over it. We love to use saltines, crush them up into the chili. This is optional. The chili is good and has a slight touch of spice. Your kids will love this chili fit for a kid.
