How To Keep Employees From Texting At Work

Cell phones became an annoyance in our company, so we had to do something about it. We had employees spending more time texting on their telephones than doing their work. We decided to ban cell phones during working hours. This is what we did. We ordered cell phone lockers for our employees. The cell phone locker is cool. You come to work and put your phone in your particular locker. You can take it out during lunch break and take it with you when you go home. We no longer have to worry about people texting while they are supposed to be working.

The cell phone storage lockers may have been the best investment we have ever made in our company. Our employees do their work without distractions and we no longer have to fire good employees for using their cell phones during working hours. The lockers were an investment, but we believed we have saved many thousands of dollars with this one time investment.

You may think cell phone lockers sound like a funny idea, but they are worth every penny. They are kind of like little mailboxes with locks on them. Our employees love the lockers and some of them think it was a sly idea. I believe you will see many companies in the future using lockers like this to keep their employees from using cell phones during working hours.
