How To Play Super Bowl Squares

It's that time of year again, The NFL playoffs are here and the Super Bowl is just around the corner. Your office may play Super Bowl Squares and here is the place to learn how to play and hopefully (get lucky) and win.

Super Bowl Squares is an office pool that many people play during the Super Bowl. The Super Bowl Squares is usually a betting game that gives you four chances in a hundred to win money during the Super Bowl. This is how you play Super Bowl Squares.
What You Need to Play Super Bowl Squares
• You need the Super Bowl Squares sheet
• You need players
• You need somebody to control the game
• You need one hundred numbers
• You need a hat
• You need somebody to pick the numbers
1. You need the Super Bowl Squares sheet to play the game. You can download the sheet on many places on the internet. There are 100 hundred squares in the game of Super Bowl Squares. You can print out a sheet for free here.
2. You need to set the price for your game of Super Bowl Squares. You can play for $1, $2, $5 etc. This means each player pays a particular amount to buy one of the hundred squares on the board. The object is to have all 100 squares covered with people's names. You can buy one to one hundred squares, but most offices limit the amount of squares each person can buy.
3. You have filled all the squares and collected all of the money. Now you are ready to set up the Super Bowl Squares board. Somebody will pick the numbers out of the hat and place the numbers one by one by the 100 squares of the board. The numbers are zero through nine and are placed on the board from the left side to the right side until all numbers have been used. There is ten of each number. It is always a good idea to have more than two people watch the numbers as they are picked.
4. You now have to put the Super Bowl Teams on the board. You can put the AFC on top and the NFC on the side, it all depends on you. Some offices put the name of the two Super Bowl Teams in the corresponding places.
5. The Super Bowl Squares sheet is set up. You now have to make copies for each player who is playing your Super Bowl Squares game. This way they will know if they have won the game while they are watching the Super Bowl.
6. The Super Bowl Squares game works like this. You chose a square. Your particular numbers are listed. Say you have 3 on AFC and 6 on NFC for your square. If the score ends with 3 and 6 after any quarter you have won one fourth of the Super Bowl Squares pool. Remember, the AFC number and the NFC number has to correspond to the score of the game after any one of the quarters.
7. The winner of each quarter usually gives the Super Bowl Squares office pool operator ten percent of their earnings. This is because this person has spent their time setting up this Super Bowl Squares game for the particular office.
8. Strategy-Some people buy up to ten squares to give them a better chance to win Super Bowl Squares. Some people pick one square and figure a four percent chance is much better than any lottery they can spend their money on. You could very well spend too much money and win nothing if you buy too many squares.
