1824-1895 - James Merritt Ives was an American lithographer with Nathaniel Currier, was ½ of Currier and Ives
1837-1903 - Alois Hitler was the father of Adolf Hitler, yes Adolf Hitler had a father, and he really wasn't the spawn of Satan
1831-1916 - Grenville M. Dodge was an American Civil War Union Army Major General; he was also a railroad executive who helped construct the Transcontinental Railroad
1911-1967 - Jack Ruby was the assassin who killed assassin Lee Harvey Oswald, he died of lung cancer
1902-1970 - Gladys Aylward was a British missionary in China; portrayed by Ingrid Bergman in The Inn of the Sixth Happiness, her story was also told in the book The Small Woman, after Japanese attacked in 1938, Aylward led 94 orphans to safety over the mountains
1935-1976 - Mal Evans was a Beatles' roadie, road manager, assistant and friend of the Beatles, Mal Evans were killed by police when his girlfriend called and told the police he had a gun, the police shot Mal Evans to death while he was carrying an air rifle.
1887-1979 - Conrad Hilton was the US founder of Hilton Hotels, he is the great grandfather of Paris Hilton, and Paris Hilton is a famous socialite
1910-1980 - Joy Adamson was the author of Born Free, killed by her servant at 69; Born Free describes Joy Adamson's raising a Lion cub named Elsa, the book was made into an Academy Award winning movie which was also called Born Free
1905-1988 William Cagney, Producer and brother of star James Cagney, William Cagney produced Yankee Doodle Dandy, his brother James Cagney won an Academy Award for his role in the movie, William Cagney looked much like his brother James Cagney, he was also the manager for James Cagney, William Cagney appeared as an actor with his brother James Cagney in the 1950 film Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye
