Their Are Plenty Of Short Sale Opportunities For Everybody

I have been noticing more and more short sales in the neighborhood lately. I guess people are losing their jobs and are unable to pay for their houses. The banks are lowering the price of the houses and trying to sell them quickly. I saw one last night that had two huge locks on the front door of the house. The bank did not want anybody breaking into the house and destroying it. It could also be that somebody has been setting fire to some of the houses around that are empty. It is amazing what people will do when they are down on their luck. I have been thinking about buying one of these short sales as an investment property. Some of the house are only worth a third of what they were worth during the housing boom. You can buy a pretty nice house for a good price. Short sales and and opportunities homes are the way to go right now.

My brother has been talking to me about buying a short sale with me. He thought it would be cool if we could both buy the house, fix it up and rent it together. Since I live here, I could rent the house. We would share the bills and the proceeds once the houses go up in value again. This sounds like a great idea, but I have to get my brother to take a couple weeks off work. This way, he can check out some of these houses with me. I am hoping this happens in the spring or summer because I am really excited about buying an investment property.

The economy sucks right now. Many people are losing everything including their homes. In some ways, this is good for the investor. If you have the money and credit, you can walk into a great deal and buy the house of your dreams. I am looking forward to doing this myself in the near future. My future as a businessman starts now. I have a certain house in my mind that is just a couple miles down the road. This is the house of my dreams and the price is right. I can't wait until I get in touch with the bank and make them an offer. This is the perfect time for me to begin my future as an investor in property.
