Homemade Bisquick Top Secret
4 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
...
1 cup shortening
Combine all the dry ingredients.
Add the shortening and mix with an electric mixer on medium speed until all the shortening is blended with the flour.
Use the mix as you would the real Bisquick.
Store in an airtight container.
Makes 6 cups.
