Dennis Wilson was the drummer/singer for The Beach Boys, he was also a founding member of The Beach Boys, in 1968 he became fascinated in Charles Manson, the Charles Mansonfamily lived with Dennis Wilson for a time at his expense, he moved out of the house when he found out the craziness of Charles Manson, he had trouble with alcoholism, drowned after drinking and trying to recover items he lost off his boat. Dennis Wilson was 39 at the time of his death. He died on this day in 1983
