4K HDMI Cable Ultra Premium Series by Solid Cordz® Review

So everybody knows, this is how my reviews work. I will copy information about the product from Amazon, so you get the information from the companies own mouth about the product I will add a picture, then I will give you an opinion about the product in my own words. I think it is important to have the information from the company and an unbiased opinion, so you know the most about each particular product

  • 24K Gold-plated HDMI® connectors provide optimal signal transfer
  • Triple-shielded HDMI® compliant cable protects against EMI/RFI
  • Supports up to 7.1 Dolby® TrueHD and DTS-HD Master AudioTM standards
  • Backward compatible to all previous versions
  • HDCP & RoHS & CEC Compliant & UL Certified
  • 6ft High Speed HDMI® Cable with Ethernet 28 AWG
HDMI® provides an interface between any audio/video source, such as set-top boxes, Blue-ray Disc players, DVD players, video game consoles, AV receivers and an audio and/or video monitor, such as digital television or plasma monitor, over a single cable.
Our High Speed HDMI® cables with Ethernet have been designed to meet the performance standards set by HDMI 1.4 and have passed stringent Category 2 testing. They are backward compatible to all previous versions.
Below are the major enhancements introduced in the HDMI 1.4 specification
    • HDMI® Ethernet Channel - The HDMI 1.4 specification adds a data channel to the HDMI® connection, enabling high-speed, bi-directional communication. Connected devices that include this feature can send and receive data via 100 Mb/sec Ethernet, making them instantly ready for any IP-based application.
    • Audio Return Channel - The new specification adds an audio channel that will reduce the number of cables required to deliver audio "upstream" from a TV to an A/V receiver for processing and playback. In cases where a TV features an internal content source, such as a built-in tuner or DVD player, the Audio Return Channel allows the TV to send audio data upstream to the A/V receiver via the HDMI cable, eliminating the need for an extra cable.
    • 3D Support - The 1.4 version of the specification defines common 3D formats and resolutions for HDMI-enabled devices, enabling 3D gaming and other 3D video applications.
    • 4K Resolution Support - The new specification enables HDMI devices to support extremely high HD resolutions, effectively four times the resolution of a 1080p device. Support for 4K allows the HDMI interface to transmit digital content at the same resolution as the state-of-the-art Digital Cinema systems used in many movie theaters.

I bought an HDMI cord on eBay because mine broke. I needed it for my Playstation 3 system. It made my game a bit blurry and I lost interest in playing. I had a chance to review 4K HDMI Cable Ultra Premium Series by Solid Cordz® for free. This is a two pack of really thick HDMI cords. I hooked it up to my television and my Playstation 3. It was a little short, so I moved my Playstation 3 to another place. This worked out well because my wife likes the new place better anyway. I turned on my Playstation 3, put in a game and checked it out. My son was like "wow dad, that looks nice." I like this HDMI cord because it is made to last and gives me a bright clear picture. I know this is a good deal because Best Buy charges the same price for one HDMI cable at around this quality. This cable made me more interested in playing games on my Playstation 3 again. I spent over an hour last night, playing, with my wife giving me that look.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
