If you come to the Tampa, Florida area for a visit, you have to visit Goodson Farms for their Strawberry Shortcake. You get the strawberry shortcake with Ice-cream and whipped cream for $4.50. It's a good size treat and delicious. They also have Cuban sandwiches, hot dogs, strawberry pizza, and a few other treats. Between December and the beginning of April, you can get fresh strawberries and other fruits and veggies. Take I-75 to the Apollo Beach exit, take a right (from either direction) drive about a mile to 301 south, you will have a Walgreen's on your right. Take a right, go 1.3 miles to 672, get into the long left turning lane. Go 1.7 miles down 672 (into the country) until you see Goodson Farms. Enjoy the short trip to this little Strawberry Market with the best strawberry shortcake around.
