Spring Time Exercise – Put Your Feet in Motion

The weather is warming up and spring break is just around the corner! If you are looking forward to spring break or already have had spring break with your kids, it’s never too late to implement spring time sports that will put your feet in motion. If your kids have been playing too many video games or had a hard time venturing outdoors during the winter time that’s all about to change. It’s time to get them healthy and get them moving. There are several sports you can have them try, such as soccer, baseball, tennis, or simply going on a bike ride now and then. Think of ways to get your kids out the door and on the courts or on a bike!

As well as encouraging them to participate or enjoy sports, don’t forget about their daily diet and vitamins, which are important to take. Exercise, diet, and taking your vitamins are a package deal – don’t forget to apply all three. There is a Puritan's Pride coupon list at the Sidepon.com website that makes it easy to stock up on vitamins and keep your kids healthy, every single season!

Tune up Your Bike –

Is your bike ready for a bike ride? It needs to be in working condition in order for you to truly enjoy a bike ride with your kids. Check your tires and inflate them if they’re looking a little flat – you don’t want them going completely flat when you’re on a long bike ride. Also, make sure you have the correct riding equipment. The helmets should fit and depending on the age of your child, have them wear knee pads if necessary. Enjoy going on a relaxing bike ride either around your neighborhood or somewhere in the mountains – it’s going to be an exciting time.

Step up Your Game on the Courts –

Tennis is a wonderful way to enjoy the great outdoors while getting outstanding exercise. This sport teaches kids to be quick on their feet while working on their eye and hand coordination. Whether your child is good at tennis does not matter because this is a skill they can learn over time. Plus it’s a great family activity if you have four people in your family – you can play doubles and enjoy the nice spring weather.

Be a Part of a Sport’s Team –

A great way to get your kids active is by encouraging them to be a part of a sport’s team, whether it is baseball, football, or soccer. Being a part of a team will help them make friends, enjoy the spring weather, and stay active. It will be fun as a parent to participate with them, help them get ready for the big games, and also help your kids practice their sport on the weekends. Sports and health are an important aspect of your child’s future so encourage them to make habits that will stick with them now.
