Safety Signs Were Made With Your Safety In Mind

Somebody who goes to church may called church signs, safety signs. A warning to people to leave their old lives and follow a way to heaven. Some people make fun of churches and their signs. They make fun of Christian and their beliefs. However, the Bible is filled with warnings. Do this and this will happen to you. Don't do that and this will happen to you. When warnings are not follows, there are consequences. This is the same thing with all of the safety signs you see while you are walking through this life. If you see a sign that says High Voltage, you know it is not safe to  go past a certain point. If you see a sign that tells you X-Ray Keep Out, you stay away so you don't get blasted with radiation.

Life is filled with warnings we must follow. I remember delivering pizza one night and there was a sign that read something like, go past this point and you may be shot. I did not drive past that point, instead I grabbed my phone and called the customer. They told me not to worry about the sign because I was a welcomed guest. I remember another time when I was delivering pizza, I jumped out of the car and walked up to the porch of the customer's home. There was no sign to warn me of danger. However, there was a dog who was growling and showing me his teeth. The owner came out and told me not to worry about the dog. She paid for her pizza, tipped me and told me to have a good night. I turned around and felt the worst pain in the back of my knee. The growling dog bit me and my blood shot into the lady's house. I had to go to the hospital for seven stitches, the dog was put down and the insurance company paid me a bunch of money.

The most ignored warning sign is your local stop sign. I have seen people blow through stop signs as fast as 45 MPH. I have also seen some people get demolished as they blow through stop signs. Safety signs were made to keep us safe and keep insurance companies out of trouble. The only problem with safety signs is there are people who don't pay attention to the warning. Often, something not too nice happens to these people. Pay attention to safety signs and save a life. The life you save may actually be your own.
