A Locksmith Saves The Day

You know when you are having one of those days. The day was actually going well, I made it to work on time. My wife was out of town on business, so I did not worry about hurrying home from work. Work went well, a bit boring, but the time flew by. I drove home thinking about resting and watching a movie on television. It had been a long week and I could actually use a break. Half way home, I remembered I took my house key off the ring to give it to my wife. She left hers at work and used mine the day before. I thought nothing of it until I realized I was not going to be able to get into my house. At that moment, the restful part of my day turned bad. I decided I had better call Dedham Locksmith on the way home. I stopped on the side of the highway and gave them a call. A police car stopped behind me with his lights on and I wondered what else could go wrong.

The police officer got out of his car and walked over to my window. He asked me if I knew why he stopped my, I had no idea. He asked for my license and registration, which I handed right over. He went to his car and came back a few minutes later. He apologized for the stop. Somebody with my type of car had just robbed a bank and I looked kind of odd sitting on the side of the highway. I told him to have a nice day and I drove the rest of the way home. Stress was running down my face in little droplets of sweat. When I finally made it home, the locksmith was waiting for me. I parked and he came right over. Don't worry, Sir we will have you in your house in no time. He was right, The guy did his job quickly and I was in the house. I thanked him, paid him and walked into my house. There was still time for me to rest.

My wife called me before I could sit on the couch with my drink. She told me she remembered my key when she walked into the hotel room. I told her my story and we both had a laugh. Sometimes things just happen at the wrong time. If my wife hadn't gone out of town, I would never had to worry about the locked door or the policeman. I was thankful a locksmith came to my home to save the day. Now it was time for me to kick up my feet, rest and watch a good movie.
