Famous People Who Died On New Years Day

Dying is just like taxes in the respect that it is going to happen to you and me. Over history, we realize it doesn't matter who you are, you are going to face death. Famous people have no secret weapon against death. They are just like you and I. They will die. We will die. Death is a part of life. However, many of us look forward to eternal life in Heaven. After we all pass from this world, I hope to meet each one of you in a better place called Heaven.

1909-1980-Frank Clifford Wykoff was a US sprinter, he won Olympic-gold-1928, 1932, 1936 Olympic Games
1924-1986 -Bruce Norris was an American hockey executive and owner of the Detroit Red Wings, he was inducted into the NHL Hall of Fame in 1969
1902-1995-Eugene Wigner was Hungarian American physicist who won the Nobel Prize for physics in 1963)
1905-1998-Helen Wills Moody Roark was an American tennis ace who won 31 Grand Slams
1915-2003-Joe Foss was an American politician, fighter pilot and 1st AFL Commissioner, was the leading Fighter Ace for the USMC during World War II, he received the Medal of Honor for his service
1922-2007 -Leon Davidson was a chemical engineer and scientist, was part of the team that developed the Atomic Bomb, he spent much of his personal life studying UFO's.
