Famous People Who Died On December 21

Dying is just like taxes in the respect that it is going to happen to you and me. Over history, we realize it doesn't matter who you are, you are going to face death. Famous people have no secret weapon against death. They are just like you and I. They will die. We will die. Death is a part of life. However, many of us look forward to eternal life in Heaven. After we all pass from this world, I hope to meet each one of you in a better place called Heaven.

1755-1824- James Parkinson was an English physician, geologist, paleontologist, and political activist, famous for his 1817 work, An Essay on The Shaking Palsy, which was later renamed Parkinson's disease
1847-1900Roger Wolcott was an American political figure, 39th Governor of Massachusetts; he was also lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts.
1856-1937Frank Kellogg was a US foreign minister, he served in the US Senate, he co-authored the Kellogg-Briand Pact which won him the Nobel Peace prize for 1929
1896-1940-F Scott Fitzgerald was a famous author, one of the greatest American writers of the 20th Century, The Great Gatsby was one of his many books
1885-1945-George S Patton was a famous US General Sicily/Normandy known for his leadership during World War II, Battle of the Bulge, one of the most famous US Generals.
1913-1967 -Louis Washkansky was recipient of the world's first heart transplant; he died 18 days after 1st heart transplant from double pneumonia
1904-1992 -Nathan Milstein was a Ukrainian/US violist known for his interpretations of Beethoven and Bach, one of the finest violinists of the 20thCentury
1906-1996 -Margaret E Rey was an author of children's books, the Curious George series of book are her and her husband's most famous children's books
1934-2001 -Dick Schaap was an American sports journalist, sports editor of Newsweek, 1970's as NBC Nightly News and the Today Show correspondent, he worked on ABC World News Tonight and 20/20, he hosted The Sports Reporters on ESPN
1941-2007 -Ken Hendricks was an American businessman, he started a shingle company and grew it into a 2.6 Billion dollar fortune, and he died in a building accident
