Tim Mara was the co-founder of NFL New York Giants, The New York Giants under Mara would win NFL Championships (which today are called Super Bowls) in 1934, 1938 and 1956, Tim Mara was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1963 because of his work with the New York Giants. He died on this day in 1959
