Garam masala, popular in northern India, is a warm mixture of spices. Recipes for masalas vary according to regions, cuisine type, as well as the individual cooks, who often concoct a new masala for each dish as needed. This rich, slightly sweet blend will save you that step and still deliver authentic Indian flavor because it incorporates a number of spices. From nutmeg to cardamom, to coriander and cumin, this Garam Masala is 100% pure, certified organic, and authentic. The word "Jiva" means life. At Jiva Organics, we are small family business driven by care and respect for life - be it people or the environment around us. As a result, we source products that are completely natural, certified organic and grown with the underlying philosophy that promotes sustainability of Mother Earth for the present and future generations. Organic farms we work with are untouched by modern toxic inputs to produce pure and natural spices and grains of the highest quality, that result in delicious, healthy meals for you and your family . It's a simple choice that makes a big difference

My wife has made chicken curry many times. She has an Indian friend who taught her the recipe. After receiving the organic Garam Masala Spice from Jiva Organics, she decided to make Tandoori Chicken. My wife is Filipino and she loves to cook. Many or her recipes have a push towards her type of cooking. She learned how to cook American food and now is trying out Indian recipes. She said this spice mixture makes it easier for her to cook Indian food. The Tandoori Chicken was delicious. This meal also contained other dishes my wife and her sister likes. Grilled fish, noodles and a few other Filipino dishes were made for my wife's friends. We also had to cook some hot dogs and hamburgers for the kids because they don't like much of what we had in this meal. The Tandoori Chicken was a highlight of our little house party. We had a difference because I had my wife use chicken breast, instead of legs and thighs. I am weird when it comes to chicken and turkey. I will only eat the white meat. The Garam Masala Spice did wonders for the recipe and I loved the tastes of the meal. The Tandoori Chicken was spicy, but not overly spicy. We will share these and other recipes with my sister in July, when we take a trip to upstate NY in July. If you love to cook like my wife, try this spice mixture, it is delicious and is made with natural ingredients too.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
