Thought of The Day: Are You Lonely?
Many people in this world are lonely. They drown their sorrows in alcohol, take sleeping pills and often end their lives. I'm sure all of us have felt some sort of loneliness. It is natural for us to want to be around people. You don't even have to talk to those people, as long as they are around. The problem isn't loneliness, the real problem is we are losing our spirituality in this country. We are losing our faith in God.
When is the last time you picked up the Bible and read it? The Bible tells us that God is always with us. He watches everything we do. He is in the room with you right now. We just have to have the faith to believe in Him. Many of us are spending all of our time with electronics. I love television and movies, many people love Facebook and others can't live without their cell phones.
I had to wake up and take a look at reality this past year. I was sick all last year, they found cancer in my kidney and they had to cut 5 percent of my right kidney off. I was sent home too early and spent Thanksgiving in the ICU. An artery in my kidney was bleeding and I had to have emergency surgery. If I didn't make it to the hospital Thanksgiving morning, I would not be here today.
I realized God was telling me something. I have not done enough in my life. He wanted me to stay here for awhile because there was work for me to do. My faith was weak and I decided it was time to spend more time with God. I got one of those Bibles you can read in a year and I began reading. I also prayed to God, asking him to give me his faith because my faith was too weak.
Are you lonely? Bring your troubles to God and He will comfort you. The alcohol or pill bottle are just temporary relief. When they wear out, reality sets in. All of us need God, but many of us don't realize it. My life is getting better. I am slowly healing from the surgeries. I am spending more time in the Bible and I am trying to trust in God. Join me and let's let God take some of the stress out of our lives.

Those Top Five Idiot Drivers
I hope you don't make my top five idiot drivers. If you do, there is something you are doing wrong. When you step into your car, you are responsible for whoever drives in your car with you. You are also responsible to follow the laws of the road. These laws are not optional, but you think you are above the law.
5) You are turning left. Somebody taught you to turn right and then turn left. The problem is you turn into the lane next to you and then you make your left turn. I bet you even blame the guy in the other lane for the accident when you eventually smash into another car. This makes you one of the top five idiot drivers.
4) You are at a crosswalk and you are turning left. The crossing guards put up their flags to let the children walk to school. You decide to turn and drive right up next to the crosswalk, so you can be the first person to drive when the crossing guards put their flags down. The problem is you are rude and you are going against the law. When the crossing guard puts up his flag, you are supposed to stop until that flag goes down. This makes you one of the top five idiot drivers.
3) You need to turn left on to a fast highway. There is a lot of traffic turning off that highway. You decide to pull your car up past the white line, so you can turn faster. When the traffic turns on to your road from the left, you continue to pull up and nearly hit them. When you do finally hit somebody, you get angry because they were making a legal turn. The accident is your fault, but you are too clueless to realize it. This makes you one of the top five idiot drivers.
2) You see the stop sign. The sign plainly reads STOP in huge letters. You think it is cool to drive through the stop sign at full speed. You cut in front of traffic and make it dangerous for everybody else on the road. When you run into another car, you get angry because they are in your way. You are more important than anybody else on the road. You don't believe you should have to follow any of the laws of the road. This makes you one of the top five idiot drivers.
1) You are driving on a busy highway. The speed limit is 70 and you are going 80. You have your cell phone sitting in the middle of your steering wheel, texting your friends at 90 miles per hour. You glance at the road, glance at your phone and back at the road again. You weave in and out of traffic like a NASCAR driver. Sadly, you are just as bad as a drunk driver. Eventually, you will hit somebody, killing them and likely yourself. This makes you one of the top five idiot drivers.
There are so many more ways to be an idiot driver. Drinking and driving or taking drugs and driving are a couple more. Part of the problem is we live in a ME world. Many people think about themselves before they think about anybody else around them. When you drive a vehicle, you are driving a potentially dangerous weapon. You are responsible for what you do behind the wheel. If you are an idiot driver, there is still hope for you. You just have to remember to care about the people around you and obey the rules of the road.

In Need Of Translation And Interpretation Services For Your Company?
I have had to make many phone calls that have been transferred to a person with a thick accent speaking the English language. What amazed me about the people on the other end of the line was their politeness and their attention to detail. Often, the person on the other side of the phone was in Indian working for a large American company. You should know by now that India is one of the fastest growing economies in the world. They will continue to grow into the future. They are successful because of their attention to detail and their willingness to work hard.
My wife works for a huge global company. They have business in nearly every country in the world. She tells me how sometimes people from China, India and other countries visit their facility to have joint meetings. Sometimes, there has to be translation service during the meeting and often in their dealings with companies throughout the world. Her company deals in fertilizer and this fertilizer is used to feed many people in all parts of the world. My wife is a lead accountant and she sometimes has to talk to people in other countries. The languages and accents can be a stumbling block to business. That is why it is important to hook up with a good translation and interpretation company. The translation company they work with sure makes their job easier.
Indian Translation Agency is the India's leading translation agency. They provide translations in practically every language, including English. Many global companies use their services to help them grow in markets where they would otherwise not have the same chance to prosper. To get acquainted with them, you can send them an email and they will likely respond within an hour. If you are in need of a great translation and interpretation service, check them out. They can do any job big and/or small.

Another Alternative To Traditional Cigarette Smoking
Cigarette smoking has affected my family, as it has many. My
mother smoked two packs of cigarettes a day for over thirty years. She died
from lung cancer at the age of 49, she is missed. My father also smoked two
packs a day and he has to pull a tank of oxygen around with him wherever he
goes. This kind of thing happens to many
families of smokers. I applaud all companies that try to make smoking safer.
Some people believe we are at the beginning of technology that may save some
people's lives. I am not sure, but I hope it becomes a reality.
Many companies have been making Electronic cigarettes for the past few years. There have not been enough tests to prove the cigarettes to be safer, but they may be taking a step in the right direction. Let's be honest, there are not too many commercials out there toting how great cigarette smoking is anymore. Fifty years ago, cigarette smoking was advertised as the cool thing to do. Today, we have taken a step back into reality. We know (as a fact) that smoking cigarettes can cause all types of cancer. It is a deadly hobby that has taken many of our loved ones away from us.
Today, E cigs can be smoked most anywhere. There is no second hand smoke like you get from a regular cigarette. There is a vapor, but we don't have all the facts about how it affects people. I hope in the years to come, these E cigs will be proven to be safer to the smoker and everybody who comes in contact with them. If there are problems, I am convinced the companies who make these cigarettes will make sure they are safer.
There are benefits of smoking Electronic cigarettes:

· No bad breath
· No smelly clothes
· No smoke or second hand smoke
· Satisfies nicotine craving
· Satisfies the oral fixation of traditional cigarettes'
"smoking experience”
· No flame. No combustion.
· Can smoke it in most places where traditional cigarettes are
prohibited
· Easy to use
· Lower cost than traditional cigarettes
. 21StCentury Smokes offers
a nine month warranty on their electronic cigarettes
Okay, so you are a smoker just like
my sister and some other members of my family, friends. You know what has
happened to some of the people in my family from smoking cigarettes. We all
know smoking cigarettes is dangerous and can cause cancer. You have another option, Electronic cigarettes. I have allergies and
traditional cigarette smoke makes me sick. I (for one) would rather go to a
home where somebody is smoking electronic cigarettes instead of traditional
cigarettes. I cannot stand the smell cigarettes leave on my clothing, skin and
in my sinuses. I have never had a problem dealing with these same things when
my friends smoke electronic cigarettes. I hope this means our technology has
taken a giant step in the right direction.

A Daily Thought:When Do We Need God?
We have all had those moments in life. We are down and out and we need God. A couple of months ago, an ambulance came to my house and took me to the hospital. We found out later, an artery in my kidney was bleeding. They had to do emergency surgery. The pain on the way to the hospital was unbearable. I begged God to help me because I thought I was going to die.
Recently, I realized something. We need God every moment of our lives. We need Him when we are down and we need Him at the happiest moments of our lives. God allowed me to survive kidney surgery and then emergency surgery. I believe He did it because I have not fulfilled my role on this earth.
I remember reading about David in the Old Testament. He always called upon God for help at his darkest hours. He also praised Him and wanted to share his greatest victories with God. David is a perfect example to us all. He teaches us that we need God in every moment of our lives. From this moment on, I believe it is time for me to share every moment of my life with God. Come and join me and we will all grow through the experience.

Filipino Rice Pudding
My wife made this for breakfast. I was interested in it until I learned she puts onions in it. It seems more like a thick soup to me than rice pudding

Cultivating Appreciation in Your Children’s Lives
When your children are small, they easily
pick up on the things you love and do on a regular basis, especially when it
comes to entertainment. If you spend your evenings watching sports on
television, working on art projects, reading, or extending hospitality to
friends, your children will be watching and learning those habits. If your
interests are varied, childhood is a good time to begin helping your children
understand and appreciate the value of art, music, athletics, and film. Expose
them to a variety of different offerings in each of these areas, so when they
are older, they will be able to discuss each with intelligence and
appreciation. Here are a few ideas you might consider.
Film
Teaching your kids that movies are not just a
box office adventure is important. Children can learn a lot of things from
movies – both positive and negative – and it’s important to give them a
well-rounded understanding. Watching older movies can help your children understand
history, as well as appreciate fashion of times past. Many old movies also have
wholesome, witty elements that can entertain your children without you having
to worry that they’re picking up things they’re too young to see. Old cartoons,
black and white films, and classic television shows are great options to show
your children to keep them entertained and teach them about the past.
Sports
Both boys and girls can easily learn to love
and appreciate sports. When they’re young, it’s important to not only watch
sports on television, but also go to some physical games. Take some time
to explain to your kids what’s happening in the game, and why it’s important,
and give them opportunities while they’re still young to learn the fundamentals
of a particular sport. If you do it in a fun, encouraging environment, it can
help your child become skilled at something, work on a team, and be fit and
healthy.
Art
Kids love art projects and playing with a
medium. While they’re young, give them opportunities to learn about different
mediums for creating art. Take them to art museums also and show them some of
the great artists at a young age. Kids remember imagery very poignantly, so
hang some famous prints in their bedrooms to continue helping them understand
why we love and appreciate art. Encourage them to create.

Bill Rancic was the Season 1 winner of The Apprentice and a successful entrepreneur. Who would have thought Bill Rancic needed help with his hair, I mean, have you seen his hair? At 42, he has enough hair to rival a teenage boy's. It's because he started using Rogaine in his 20s after noticing hair loss, which was early enough to prevent additional hair loss and balding. Bill Rancic trusted ROGAINE and you may want to check into it too. Take that next step in 2014 and regrow your hair.
What are you doing to grow your game in 2014? I know, we all have New Year's resolutions, but do you really keep them? ROGAINE has their Grow Your Game contest where you can win prizes and learn how to grow your own game. If you are losing your hair, this is the moment when you can change your life with the help of ROGAINE. Many of the men in my family have hair loss and I have no problem using ROGAINE to help out my particular situation. It's even better, when you “#gotitfree”.
I have been a working stay at home father for nine years. I decided the most important job I could do was be the best father possible. You can be a success in this life, but do it by taking time away from your family. Yes, I work and I work hard, but my children are more important than my job. I hope more men will take the step in 2014 and try to be better fathers to their children. None of us are perfect, but our children deserve our best.
