Modern Dentistry Keeps My Teeth Healthy And White

I always hated going to the dentist. I remember when I was a little boy. I would walk into the dentist, he would find cavities, and then came the hard part. The dentist would poke me in the gums with a huge needle that hurt like crazy. Then I would hear the whining of the drill which scared me to death. He would tell me it would not hurt when he began to drill holes in my teeth. The fillings would go in, they would rinse my mouth and it was finally over. Tears ran down my face because I did feel some pain and pressure on my teeth. This is why I always hated going to the dentist when I was a little boy.

Now I go to the dentist regularly. At first I was afraid because of the bad experiences I had at the dentist in the past. There are places like Orem dentist that take good care of you. I am no longer afraid when I go to the dentist. Part of it is I am no longer a little boy. A bigger part of it is the advancements in dentistry makes each visit easier and easier. There is not much pain at the dentist anymore. The dentist I go to wears a bow tie, was a former military dentist and cares about his patients. I am 48 years old, my teeth are healthy and I feel much better about going to the dentist. My teeth are cleaner than they have ever been thanks to my dentist.

My dentist talked me into buying an electric toothbrush. I have problems with plaque and a regular toothbrush just doesn't do the trick. I was also told to floss my teeth each day to keep plaque from the inside of my teeth. Now, I have no problems going to the dentist. The advancements in dentistry have helped me feel more comfortable sitting in that dentistry chair. There is no more pain and the whining of the drill is minimal compared to the 1970's. Make sure you go to the dentist regularly and keep your teeth healthy. Trust me, you no longer have to worry about pain when you sit in that dentistry chair.
