I'm Tired Of The Road Construction Signs In Our Neighborhood

We have road construction going on all over our neighborhood. They have been working on the roads for years and it is getting annoying. I can't wait until they finish the roads, so we don't have to deal with the endless traffic. I drove my wife to work this morning and the roads are rough. There are bumps and cracks in the roads everywhere. It is a real pain. I know it has to be bad on the axle and shocks on my car. I really can't wait until it is over. There are Safety Signs all over the place. If I didn't have to use the road, I would not. The problem is I have no choice. My children go to school on the road and my wife works on the road.

I had a friend who worked construction. He told me they squeezed every penny out of their jobs. A road construction job that was supposed to take a year could be pushed to two years. This way the construction companies could keep their people working and make more money. I don't know if he was pulling my leg or if it was the truth. Every day I drive down the road, I think about what he told me. Their were signs on the road that told us when the roads were completed, that was months ago and they roads are not near complete.

The things is they don't keep working on one road. One day, the construction people are working on one road. The next day they are working on another road and so on. I believe the construction workers have worked on eight to ten different roads in the past three years. Last night, I saw another road sign that said they were going to be workin In Oug on another road near the end of this week. The thing that gets me is they decide to work on the roads during rush hour and do nothing at night. They could have finished the construction already, but they keeping piddling around. There has to be something we can do about our roads. I'm sure somebody has the same problem in their neighborhoods. Welcome to my world.
