We drove from Tampa, Florida to Miami to work the Miami Marlin's preseason game against the Yankees yesterday and WrestleMania 28. By the time we reached the stadium, it was extremely hot. The temp was near 95 degrees and was very humid. The crowds poured in ready for action. We were already tired from working in the new Miami Marlins baseball stadium.
I am a wrestling fan from the 80's and 90's. After I found out the action was fake, I turned away from wrestling and dove into boxing and now MMA. I love the UFC because it is full of action and is fun to watch. I saw some of this excitement at WrestleMania 28.
WrestleMania 28 was entertaining, weird and fun. The fans broke another record for attendance with over 78000 attending and they were ready for action. I loved the entertainment value of the show, but I did notice some odd things. Some of the fans looked like they may have spent their entire lives hiding in their basement, coming out for this huge wrestling event. There were all types of fans from all over the world. I carded people from Germany, England and nearly every state in our country. I saw more homemade signs than any other event I have worked as a beer vendor. Many of the fans were yelling Yes and No, others were yelling out their favorite wrestler's name. There were even a few fans walking up and down the aisles trying to get a reaction from the crowd.
Here are the results of WrestleMania 28:
Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus-Sheamus won the heavyweight championship in five seconds.
Randy Orton vs. Kane-Kane beat Randy Orton easily which surprised many wrestling fans
Cody Rhodes vs. Big Show-The Big Show wins the Intercontinental Championship
Kelly Kelly and Maria Menounos vs. Beth Phoenix and Eve-Kelly Kelly and Maria Menounos won, but the crowd booed during the entire match, many were yelling out that the match was extremely boring
Triple H vs. The Undertaker with Shawn Michael's as guest referee in the Hell in the Cell match-The Undertaker wins and he and Shawn Michael's carries Triple H away. This was strange considering The Undertaker beat Triple H up with a chair and Triple H tried to hit The Undertaker with a sledge hammer, The Undertaker takes the hammer from Triple H and pounds him with it and wins the match. The crowd held up signs which read 20-0 for The Undertaker
Team Teddy Long (Santino Marella, Kofi Kingston, R-Truth, Zack Ryder, The Great Khali and Booker T) vs. Team John Laurinaitis (David Otunga, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, Mark Henry and Drew McIntyre)
I never understood this match, but it will lead into the Monday night show, Eve cost Ryder the match-Team Laurinatis wins the match
CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho-CM Punk won the WWE Championship with the Anaconda Vice
John Cena vs. The Rock-The Rock wins surprising many onlookers at WrestleMania 28 in Miami, this match was a hook to get real wrestling fans wondering what will happen with wrestling during the upcoming year.
This is how WrestleMania 28 looked to a beer vendor. We left the crowded arena and raced home to Tampa, reaching our homes at 4 AM. We have a few bucks in our pockets, we are tired and we saw an interesting wrestling show in Miami at WrestleMania 28.
One word to leave wrestling fans, your beer vendor works hard and we do take tips. A in the stand beer vendor gets paid two ways, we earn commission from our sales and make money through tips. Beer vendors do not get paid through an hourly wage. If you are curious, the worst tippers we have met at shows like WrestleMania are Europeans.

The Importance of Continuing Your Education In Today's Society
I would love to go back to college and finish my degree. It is hard because I spent the past eight years of my life as a stay at home father who works full-time at night. If you are a parent, you realize this leaves little time for a college education. Our children are important and they take up much of our time. This is the life of a stay at home father.
I am one of those people who quit college when I was nearly through. I collected 114 hours out of the 125 hours I needed for my bachelors degree when I quit. I quit because I had worked full-time and went to college full-time for five years. I was burned out, young and tired of school. This is one of those decisions I wish I could take back, but I cannot. Sometimes we make decisions we have to deal with for the rest of our lives, this is one of them.
Since then, I have taken three college classes, but have not finished off my degree. This is still my goal and I will accomplish it even if it takes the rest of my life. I live in Florida now and I have become interested in graphic design courses in miami or continuing my education here in Tampa. I haven't decided which, but the decision is still being weighed in my mind.
In today's economy education is very important. There aren't enough jobs to go around and a college education gives you a fighting chance to compete for the job you want. Educated people have a much better chance to get a good job in a tough economy than those who gave up on college. This is one of the reasons I will finish my college degree in the near future.

Tampa is The Most Stressful City in America
I live in the Tampa area. Today I read on Yahoo that Tampa is the most stressful city in America. This makes me think, maybe there is no hope for us. In November we were rated the saddest city in America. Is Yahoo trying to tell us something. They tell us we have the highest rate of suicide and marriages don't work in Tampa.
I'm not really in the mood to buy a gun and shoot myself or divorce my wife. I love my children and we love the warm weather here in Tampa. I know Yahoo has to report the news, but give us a break. We have nice weather, we have beaches and a bunch of cool things to do in our area. We are loaded with amusement parks.
Thank you Yahoo for making me both depressed and sad with your timely reports. Yes the Bucs ended the season with a 4-12, losing eight straight. Yes, the unemployment rate in this area sucks, but we are not all unhappy. There is not something in the water that makes people want to kill themselves and divorce their wives and husbands. We just happen to be the lucky people who are on the bottom of your statistics.
I think I figured it out. We are the most depressing and saddest city in America because all of those people from New York and Boston keep moving here and bringing their grumpiness with them. I see them at the Rays games and they are always so angry. Don't get too happy Detroit, your place is not so happy either.
The Most Depressing Cities
1)Tampa/St. Petersburg-Thanks for that oil spill BP, we appreciate it
2) Las Vegas-this is what happens when you keep losing money
3) Miami-half the people living there aren't even American
4) Jacksonville-Tebow leaves Jacksonville and the whole city falls apart, somebody from the Middle-East buys the Jaguars and tells the fans they are not real fans unless they buy season tickets
5) Detroit-This place has been depressing for years, this is what happens when you cannot figure out how to beat Ohio State

Is Florida The Saddest Place In America
Florida is beautiful, lots of sun, warm weather and beaches. Florida is also a place where the economy is bad and many people are depressed. There are five cities in Florida that are on the top of the list of the saddest cities in America. This means more people take anti-depressants in these cities and more people commit suicide in these cities.
1) St. Petersburg
4)Tampa-I live fourteen miles from Tampa
8) Miami
13) Jacksonville
19) Orlando
Sadly, Florida is a sad place. We have amusement parks, beaches and many fun things to do here, but people no longer have money. Maybe this is why all pro-football teams are losers this year in Florida. I think it is time for me to go somewhere and have my daily cry.
