Try A Nice Vacation To Cape Cod and Enjoy Martha's Vineyard
My family loves vacations. It is nice to go somewhere where you can actually relax and enjoy your time together. This year we decided to go to a different part of the country. We usually go to Orlando, California or the Philippines. We enjoy all of those trips, but sometimes change is good. I have family in New York and the vicinity. I remember as a kid going to Cape Cod one summer. The trip was one of the most enjoyable moments of my life. The area is beautiful and the food is fresh. This is the perfect area to bring your family to have a good time and relax.
I decided to go online and put together a vacation to the Cape Cod area. I made a search for Marthas Vineyard hotels and found the perfect spot for us to stay. I showed all the information to my wife and she finally became excited. She has never been to that part of the country and always wanted to check it out. I booked the vacation and the flights that same evening. Now we had something to look forward to, a vacation at Martha's Vineyard.
What is cool about Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard is there is so much to do. The place is beautiful, the food is delicious and there are activities for the entire family. I loved going bike riding and enjoying the cool breeze in the evening. I also enjoyed the beach and the ride we took on a speed boat. Mostly, I loved researching the area and relaxing in our hotel. If you want to enjoy a fun and relaxing vacation, try out Martha's Vineyard for a change.
disclaimer: This is a sponsored post for Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce, however, all the points and views are my own.

Having Fun With Wheat Pennies
I love coins and so do my kids. I think it is cool to hold a hundred year old coin in your hand,. My children get excited when they see a penny. Do you remember the time when you actually was happy when you found a penny?
Get a penny book, 1909-1940 or 1940-1958. These are all wheat pennies. Go to eBay and buy a lot of wheat pennies. When they come in the mail, go through them with your children. Take the pennies that fit into the book and help your children fill the books. Your children will get a kick out of this. Keep the books for your children and give them to them when they get older.
The cool thing with wheat pennies are they are pretty cheap and never lose their value. If you are lucky, you will find a valuable wheat penny. I actually found a 1931s one time in a roll of wheat pennies I bought for three dollars.
Having fun with wheat pennies is fun and is a hobby that can build a bond between you and your children. As you check out the coins, you can teach them a history lesson. You could look up some things that happened during some of the dates on the pennies.

Pet Names (Boo)
Boo is the pet name I have for my little girl. I wrote this poem when she was two. She is four now and I still call her Boo. The name stuck and the whole family calls her Boo. Pet Names are another way you can make your children feel special. This is a poem I wrote for my little girl.
Boo
Boo was two
two was Boo
I want to eat
myself a Boo
two was Boo
I want to eat
myself a Boo
I start with her tummy
It's oh so yummy
little Boo
thinks it's really funny
It's oh so yummy
little Boo
thinks it's really funny
I bite her nose
her little nose
little Boo giggles
No! No! No! No!
her little nose
little Boo giggles
No! No! No! No!
she growls back at me
my little Boo
I'm not quite sure
what I shall do
my little Boo
I'm not quite sure
what I shall do
I grab her feet
and nibble her toes
little Boo nibbles back
on the end of my nose
and nibble her toes
little Boo nibbles back
on the end of my nose
Boo is two
two is Boo
my heart is now full
from eating my Boo
two is Boo
my heart is now full
from eating my Boo
Pet Names are a fantastic way to show your children how special they are to you. We do not always get all the time we want to spend with our children. Making them feel special during those few moments in a day you have can fill your children's hearts with joy. In fact, your heart will be filled too. Enjoy your children while they are still little like my Boo. Boo was two, now she is four. Time goes by very fast, enjoy every moment.

We Joined The Cub Scouts
My seven year old son and I joined the Cub Scouts tonight. My son is now a wolf and is ready to join in on the fun. Lucky for us, we joined through our church. St. Stephen Catholic Church has the best Cub Scouts in this area. They do fun things every week and we are happy to be part of the fun.
I hope over the weeks that we get to share our experiences/pictures with you through this blog. We are excited and ready to enjoy everything the Cub Scouts has to offer. My son is seven and is already hooked on video games. He needs to get out of the house and spend some valuable time with his father.
It looks like our first event will be showing up this Sunday morning at the worship service at our church. Next week, we may actually go on a field trip. We look forward to the Cub Scouts and I hope they are ready for us too. Hurray for The Cup Scouts!!

The Kid's First Visit To Pump It Up
My five year old daughter was invited to a birthday party at Pump It Up and my seven year old son was also allowed to attend. The kids were excited and I had no idea what the place was.
All the kids had a blast. The Parent's had a good time too. We ate pizza, ice-cream and cake at the end of the play time and watched the honored guest open her gifts. The first time at Pump It Up was a really good time

Our Adventure At Legoland Florida With Pictures
I took my three children to Legoland Florida and we had a great time. It took me a few minutes to find the place, but we found it after 2 dollars worth of Florida tolls.
We liked Legoland Florida so much we upgraded to season passes
They had a bunch of cool rides for children and parents alike, even grumpy teenagers
They even had a all you can eat pizza, pasta, salad and drinks buffet inside of Legoland Florida, we left the place with very full stomachs
If you want to visit a fun place, take a trip to Legoland Florida, you won't be sorry
