My Son Loves To Play Games On our iPad and PC

My son loves to play video games online. He plays Mine Craft on our iPad and other games on the PC. He was telling me about a game he really loves to play on my PC. The game is called plants vs zombies and he loves to play it. He said the plants protect the house from zombies so the zombies cannot eat the brains of the people. It sounds gruesome, but it is a cool game  and my son has tons of fun. If it was too scary, he would not play it.

I love games too, but my games are different than my sons games. I played the old school games like Galaga and Ms. Pacman. Now I play just about any type of war game out there. I really love shooting games because they are fun and relax me. I never would have believed we would have so many games to choose from when I was a kid. I can't imagine what kinds of games my sons children will play in the future.

I believe my son's favorite games on the PC are plants vs zombies & Bejeweled. He is one of those kids that catches on to games fast. I often wonder if he is better at gaming than I am because he grew up with computers from the moment he was born. I remember the computers they had when I was a kid seemed like they were as big as a house. In today's world, gaming is a huge part of growing up. Who knows what tomorrow will bring.

Time To Prepare For My Daughter's Birthday In June

My daughter will be six in June. She wants to have a birthday party and invite her friends from school. She has never had a birthday party with friends and this is really important to her. She talks about her birthday nearly every day and she looks forward to turning six years old. We need to get birthday invitations soon because June will be here before we know it. My daughter is so excited about her birthday and looks forward to the moment when she opens the door and invites her friends into our house.

The gift list for my daughter is impossible. She wants more stuff than we could ever afford. She wants the usual toys, a DSL and even an iPad of her own. We will get her some nice gifts, but she still doesn't understand how much things costs. If we got her all of the things she wanted for her birthday, we would have to take out a loan. Little girls like mine are fun, but they expect a lot and when they don't get it, they often get emotional.

The good thing is my daughter will be satisfied with the gifts she gets on her birthday. She has huge dreams, but she knows her family is not rich and they love her. She will be happy with her gifts as long as her friends are here to celebrate her birthday with her. We will be getting the birthday invitations soon because my daughter wants to fill them out herself for her friends.

I look forward to June and my daughter's birthday. She is growing up so fast, so we want to enjoy every minute we can with her. This birthday is important to her, but what she doesn't realize yet is it is just as important to her parents. We look forward to the memories of this birthday and every birthday to come.

Elfishki and the Giant Cake For iPad Review

We had the opportunity to check out Elfishki and the Giant cake for the iPad. Elfishki and the Giant Cake is an interactive book for children with Books are Boring Syndrome. The book is cool because your child reads the book and becomes a part of the book. This is the interactive part of the book. 

The book is cute and it is a great way for your children to listen and read the book. I love the get into the book idea because it is a great way for children to learn how to read better. 

My five year old daughter loves the Elfishki and the Giant Cake interactive book because it is like she is playing a game while she is reading a book. Making reading fun is the perfect way for children to become better readers. We cannot wait for the next book and it would be cool if these books would come out on other types of Apple products, so everybody can enjoy them. It's cool how you can make a cake at the end of the book, now my daughter wants to build a real cake. Very cool book. you can buy it on itunes
