I had the opportunity to review the book Bearing Witness. The fun part was I brought the book with me during my daughter's fourth grade field trip to Mote Aquarium. Mote Aquarium is about an hour away from the school, so I had two hours to read it. My children go to St. Stephen Catholic school and my daughter's class is very noisy. While I read the book, I listened to the noise of children and thought about what my children could go through in the future in regards to their faith in God. The book was interesting, inspiring and in many ways sad. It is amazing how many people (throughout history) have a hate for Christians. The book also made me think about my personal faith in God and if I would be able to be faithful under the same circumstances as the people in the book. Many Christians have been murdered and persecuted for their faith in God. The field trip was fun, I survived and even learned a few things at the Mote Aquarium.
