The Muppet's Support Gay Marriage, Will No Longer Eat Chick-Fil-A

Jim Henson and the Muppets have decided to boycott Chick-Fil-A because of their stance against gay marriage. Of course, Jim Henson is dead, so he will not be eating any more chicken sandwiches anyway. His daughter Lisa Henson is the CEO of her father's company and she will no longer supply toys or anything else to Chick-Fil-A. Lisa Henson supports Gay Marriage, Chick-Fil-A is standing up against gay marriage. You can read the full story here

Both companies have the right to believe what they want to believe. Chick-Fil-A has the right to stand up against gay marriage. The owner of the company is a Christian and believes in the traditional marriage.

"Well, guilty as charged," Cathy told the Baptist about his company's position.
"We are very much supportive of the family--the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that," he said." (Yahoo News)
Lisa Henson is a strong supporter of Gay Marriage. She believes gay people should be able to marry each other in every state in our country. She has the right to sever her ties with Chick-Fil-A because they don't support her beliefs. Where does this leave the Muppets?
Sadly, the Muppets will no longer be able to eat those delicious chicken sandwiches we get every time we go to Chick-Fil-A. Good thing, the Muppets are just little furry creatures Jim Henson created years ago. Disney actually owns the company and Lisa Henson has stock in the company. Likely, Lisa Henson won't be walking into a Chick-Fil-A to eat any chicken sandwiches in the near future.
What will Disney do in this situation? Who knows. As a parent and Christian, I will not support Lisa Henson or her company. I do not believe in Gay Marriage. I don't hate gay people, but I do believe in traditional marriage. I try to live my beliefs the best way I know how and supporting Gay Marriage is against my beliefs.
I support Chick-Fil-A in this matter. They stand up for their beliefs, even if they are not politically correct or popular. Too many people go against their ethics to remain part of the crowd. Chick-Fil-A gets my thumbs up because of the way they run their company and treat people.
Gay people are people. They are your neighbors, family members and often your friends. Most importantly, they are people. It is wrong to hate gay people for any reason. Just because you are against Gay Marriage, doesn't mean you hate people because they live a different lifestyle.
