Remodeling Our Home With New Doors

We bought a house eight years ago and we were excited. Now we want to remodel the place because the builders put the cheapest materials they could find into our house. We already changed the floors, the refrigerator and the stove. Next step is going to have to be the doors. The builder decided our house should have some of the cheapest doors on the market. This doesn't make us happy, but such is life. 


It took us awhile to find the right type of doors for our home. We wanted to buy the best doors on the market at the best price. We want doors that are build good and are at a reasonable price. We checked all the local places like Lowes and The Home Depot, but they did not have the selection we were looking for.


The question was where to find solid wood doors for your home. We actually made an online search to see what we could find because we were not having any luck in our local market. We finally found what we were looking for, doors that fit our house at the price we were willing to pay. Now we have to find cabinets and counters to replace the junkie ones we have in our kitchen.

How To Make Insecticide Soap And Zap Bugs

Do you want to get rid of bugs in your garden? Do you want to kill roaches and other bugs in your house without paying big bucks for an exterminator? Now is the time to make your own insecticide soap.

Ingredients
vegetable oil
water
dish washing liquid
a spray bottle

Take a spray bottle and fill it three quarters up with water. Take your dish washing detergent and spray a good amount in the spray bottle. Take a teaspoon of oil and drop it into the spray bottle. Fill the spray bottle the rest of the way up with water. Find some bugs in your garden or your house. Spray the bugs with the homemade insecticide soap. Watch the bugs as they twitch and die. The insecticide soap suffocates the bugs and they are no more.

This recipe is cheap and simple, but will kill a ton of bugs. Bugs don't like insecticide soap because it suffocates them. Even roaches cannot survive when they are suffocated, what a shame!

The Benefits of a New Gas Water Heater

I had an electric water heater in my house and one morning the hot water disappeared. I needed Water Heater Repair, but I did not want to pay for it. I called my brother and asked him what to do. He told me to look at the elements in my hot water heater. He talked me through it and by the afternoon I had hot water. I hated to do the work myself, but it was a quick fix. I was able to take a hot shower, do my dishes and wash my clothes. After awhile, I forgot I had a problem with my water heater.

A few months later, the problem reared its ugly head again. The hot water was gone and I was frustrated. I decided it was time for Water Heater Replacement. I called the plumber and he was there within an hour. He checked out the situation and told me I should change to a new gas water heater. He said we already had the hook-ups, our house was already hooked up to natural gas.

He hooked it up and we have not had another problem with hot water since. I am really happy we called the local plumber and we changed to a new gas water heater. The cost of the product was worth it, we have had our gas water heater for eight years and have not had one problem with it. I am so glad I never have to worry about changing the elements in an electric water heater ever again.
