Pur-Gum Reveiw and Giveaway Ends 11/9/2011
We received four packs of gum from the Pur-Gum company. We received Pomegranate mint, spearmint, excitemint and peppermint gum. The gum has a powerful flavor that fades after a few moments into a good tasting gum. The advantage of Pur-Gum is the gum is Aspartame free and each pack contains nine pieces of flavorful gum. My children loved the pomegranate mint gum because it was flavorful and not too strong.
Most gums on the market are made with the ingredient Aspartame- a man-made synthetic sweetener that's been linked to many diseases. The FDA has listed 92 acknowledged symptoms of aspartame poisoning. (Straight from the Pur-Gum website) Pur-Gum is sweetened with Xylitol which is a naturally-occurring sugar alcohol found in corn cobs and stalks. This is much better than those gums that are flavored by aspartame.
Giveaway:
One lucky winner will receive three full trays of Pur-Gum valued at $60

Loneliness
I'm told I am a watcher. I watch people and I feel what they feel. I am told I look and think about people too much, but I care. When I see things it often brings me to poetry. My poetry is simple, but it often comes out of me from what I observe all around me. Today my thoughts are about loneliness. Many people are lonely all around us and we often do not even notice them.
Loneliness
The room is full
I sit in the corner
on an empty bench
lonely
The park is alive
Laughing children
Loving families
One silhouette leans on an old oak tree
The mall is frantic
rushing and shopping
teardrops stream down her face
she is lost and alone
The stadium is alive
cheering fans roar
eating and drinking to gluttony
one lonely man searches trash cans for a crumb
The room is full
I sit in the corner
on an empty bench
lonely

10 Reasons For A Father To Stay At Home With His Children
Seven years ago, I decided to be a stay at home father for my children. My son was just born and my wife is an accountant. I wanted to go back to college to finish my degree, but I decided staying home with my son was more important. My daughter was born two years later and I became a full-time stay at home father. I have spent the past seven years delivering pizza at night and as an in stands beer vendor besides my full-time life as a stay at home father.
Sources
My experience as a stay at home father
- 1. Learning to be a dad-I didn't know too much about being a stay at home father. I have an older daughter and I was a decent father, but learning to be a full-time dad has been quite an experience. I learned how to be a better dad by staying home with my children. I learned about all of the sacrifices women do for their children. I learned how to change diapers, feed babies and children, love my children as their father; through the experience I learned how to be a dad.
- 2. Enjoying the special moments-The job of a stay at home father can be tough, it is not all fun and games. Cleaning up number 2, puke and other messes can be an overwhelming experience. Screaming and crying babies can really stress you out, but it is all worth it when you enjoy the special moments only a father who stays at home can enjoy. I watched each of my children take their first steps; I heard their first words and enjoyed their first coloring on paper and on walls. I have enjoyed a special bond with my children I may never have known if not for my experience as a stay at home father.
- 3. Taking the responsibility of fatherhood-All men should take full responsibility for their children. A father needs to be there to help children develop properly. I have enjoyed the responsibility of fatherhood, but it is not all cake and ice-cream. I have spent seven years driving my wife to work, taking care of my children (taking them to school and back) and working after a long day is through. Sometimes you don't get enough sleep and time alone with your wife, but it is a decision you make when having children and staying home with them.
- 4. Teaching my children about God-I know children can learn about God in church through Bible classes. I believe that planting a seed throughout your children's life gives them a start on the right path of religion and belief in God. I actually write Bible classes and teach them about the Bible myself when I have time. I believe teaching my children about God is one of the most important things I can do for them.
- 5. Protecting my children because I am there for them-I know you think I am an overprotective dad and you may be right. There are so many daycares in Florida who have mistakenly hired child molesters and other criminals. There are many dangerous people on the streets of Florida. I live in Florida and I am a realist. All people are just not good anymore and it is my responsibility to protect my children and my wife. A stay at home is there and is able to make important decisions that can make life safer for his children. I believe this is the reason I was able to save my own son from drowning because I was there for him. Being there and caring are two important steps towards protecting your children.
- 6. Developing a relationship with my children-I have developed a close relationship with all of my children. Staying home with my children has allowed me to develop a bond that is worth more than gold to me. My children know their father and they love me for who I am. I would not give up the close relationship I have with my children for anything.
- 7. Teaching my children right from wrong-I have taught my children right from wrong from day one and I still teach them right from wrong. My children know how to act and are always complimented for the way they act. My children's teachers are always telling me how amazing my children listen and act in their classes. My wife also teaches the children at night when I am at work, but she does not have as much time with them. It is a team effort.
- 8. Learning from my children-I know it may sound strange, but I have learned how to be a better father from my children. I learned that children love you with an innocent type of love. I learned from my children that each one of them have their own personality. My daughter is loving and emotional. My son is loving boy, but he likes to play around more than my daughter. My children taught me that money is not what makes the world go around, love is. Your children are excited to spend time with you and they enjoy every moment.
- 9. Learning about love from my children-Children must have must have a built in instinct where they automatically know that mom and dad are not perfect. The beautiful thing is your children love you despite your imperfections. I have learned true love from my children. They gave me a different perspective on love. I learned that nobody is perfect and they still deserve love. Children teach parents more about real love than they ever thought they knew.
- 10. When Mom Has a Better Job than Dad-I became a stay at home father because my wife is an accountant and she makes twice as much as I make. I work two jobs, write online and my wife still makes twice as much as me. She also has incredible benefits, so in that respect becoming a stay at home father was a no-brainer.

Here Are Ten Things Toddlers and Small Children Should Never Be Allowed to Do
Ten Things Toddlers and Small Children Should Never Do
If you have toddlers and small children, you know they are busy. Toddlers get into everything and they are always moving. They seem to have endless energy and parents often feel relieved when they finally fall asleep at night. As a parent of a toddler and/or small children it is important to know the ten things they should never do.
1. Toddlers and small children should never talk to strangers. This is a strange world we live in. For every good person, there is another person waiting to prey on your children in some way. Some people are perverts; others want to use your children to make money off of perverts. Never talking to strangers is an old rule that should always be used in our society. This means you as a parent are responsible to teach your children to never talk to strangers and it is also important for you to be there with your toddlers and small children to make sure they never talk to the wrong people.
2. Toddlers and small children should never open your front door to anybody. You never know who is coming to your door and you don't want your children to open your house up to just anybody. It is important for parents to teach their toddlers and small children to wait for mommy and daddy before any door in the house if ever opened.
3. Toddlers and small children should never go anywhere alone. It is mom and dad's job to make sure they know where their small children are. It is also important for mom and dad to teach their toddlers and small children going anywhere by themselves is both dangerous and a bad idea. There are too many stories about mom and dad sleeping and their toddlers being found on the street. There are other stories about mom and dad partying while their small children are home alone. You love your children and you do not want them to become a statistic. Do not allow toddlers and small children to go anywhere alone.
4. Toddlers and small children should never be allowed to play with plastic and plastic bags. Plastic is dangerous to small children and they can be suffocated if a plastic bag is stuck in their mouths or over their heads. You need to keep your eyes on your children all of the time to keep them safe from plastic and plastic bags.
5. Toddlers and small children should never hit other children. From birth children should be taught right from wrong by their parents. Your toddlers and children should know it is wrong to hit another child. It is your job to teach them this important lesson.
6. Toddlers and small children should never bit other children. This is the same as hitting. Your children should be taught from birth that they are not allowed to bite other children. Biting hurts and is a bad habit for your children to learn. Your child's school will send him/her home if they are caught biting another child.
7. Toddlers and small children should never cuss. Most toddlers and small children who cuss learn it from their parents, family or their friends. As a parent, it is your job to teach your children that cussing is not a good thing to do. Teach your children how to talk correctly. If you don't cuss at your children, they are less likely to have a problem with cussing.
8. Toddlers and small children should never be around sharp objects. Children love to cook with their parents, but they should never be allowed to hold a sharp knife or anything else that is sharp. Sharp items are dangerous to your children.
9. Toddlers and small children should never take a bath or a shower by themselves. A parent should be around at all times to supervise their children while they are bathing. When your children get older, it is obviously okay to allow them to take a shower or bath alone. A child can drown in an inch of water and you do not want your toddlers and small children to become another statistic.
10. Toddlers and small children should never swim in a pool without supervision. Children love water and they love to swim. However, they do not know how to prevent themselves from drowning. It is important as a parent to always supervise your children when they are in and around a pool.
You are a parent and you believe you have the most beautiful toddler and small children in the world. Make sure you follow these simple rules and others to make sure your child is safe and sound. I work in a line of work where I see little children under incredible circumstances. I have seen mom's holding their children while smoking cigarettes and pot. I have seen parents drunk while their small children are in the house left alone to fend for themselves. Parenting may be the most important job anybody could have in the world. If you look at your children as the most important people in the whole wide world, you will understand the importance of being there and teaching your children right and wrong. Commit yourself today to be the best parents you can possibly be for the safety and well-being of your toddlers and small children.
Feel free to leave any other parenting ideas in the comments section. I am just a father I don't know everything about raising toddlers and small children.

Bungalow BeBe Pink Romper Review
Two year old Liliana was excited when her package came in the mail. She ripped it open and pulled out her new pink romper from Bungalowbebe. Liliana’s grandmother had to help her put on her new romper. At first the romper was snug, but loosened up and fit comfortably. The romper is pink, pretty and comfortable. Liliana wants to wear it all of the time. It is easy for her to undo when she sits on the potty. She just loves her new romper.
Bungalow BeBe was started in 2007 in New York. They make their clothes out of 100% certified organic cotton. They are a green company that cares about the environment and children. Bungalow BeBe believe each individual child is unique and should feel significant and brilliant at all times. Their clothes are natural, simple and comfortable. You can buy their clothing in specialty children boutiques in the US and Puerto Rico and online here. They specialize in clothing for babies and up to 2T.
As a father, I like Bungalow BeBe because their clothing is simple, comfortable and made out of 100% organic cotton. The clothes are as beautiful as they are plain. My niece is comfortable in the clothing and it has become her favorite thing to wear. Their clothing is good for the environment and fun for little children.

Kidfresh Kid's Meals Review and Giveaway Ends 10/27/2011
Kidfresh is a company that makes kid’s meals that are both delicious and nutritious. The Kidfresh Company purees vegetables and sneaks them into their kid’s meals to make them more nutritious and make sure children get their veggies. The meals are All Natural, a good source of protein, have no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. The packaging is green, they have no BHA and the company is socially responsible.
Kidfresh teamed up with a leading pediatric nutritionist to make an all in one meal for kids that is both delicious and nutritious. The meals are rich in vegetables, vitamins, iron, calcium, fiber and a good source of protein. The meals have 0g of Trans fats, around 400 calories and are a healthy choice for your children.
Kidfresh sent us four coupons for free Kidfresh meals. We found out our local Publix supermarket carried their products and we went out and got them right away. Bad news for us was our Publix only carried three of their kid’s meals. My children chose the Rainbow Rice and Chicken and the Cheesy Quesadillas. Our Publix also carried the Spaghetti Loops Bolognese, but none of them seemed interested in them.
My fifteen year old girl liked the Rainbow Rice and Chicken Kidfresh meal, but she said the food needed salt and pepper. I took a taste and I believe it tasted pretty good. My two smaller children also opted for salt, but still enjoyed the meals. The Cheesy Quesadillas were very cheesy and tasty, there were no complaints.
I like they style of the Kidfresh Company and their kid’s meals. It is nice to feed your children frozen food that you know is good for them and is designed by a pediatrician to give your children the best nutrition possible. I also like the fact that the Kidfresh Company is socially responsible. Their packaging is green which helps our environment, their foods are nutritious and they are a proud sponsor of Save the Children. When you buy a Kidfresh kid’s meal, you are also supporting a good cause.
