Famous People Who Died On December 27

Dying is just like taxes in the respect that it is going to happen to you and me. Over history, we realize it doesn't matter who you are, you are going to face death. Famous people have no secret weapon against death. They are just like you and I. They will die. We will die. Death is a part of life. However, many of us look forward to eternal life in Heaven. After we all pass from this world, I hope to meet each one of you in a better place called Heaven.

Teena Marie Dies

1932- Radio City Music Hall opens (NYC)
1941- Japan bombs Manila even though it was declared an "open city"

1876-1952 - Henri G Winkelman was the Dutch supreme commander army/navy 1940, commander during the German invasion of the Netherlands
1897-1972 - Lester B Pearson 14th Canadian PM won the Nobel prize in 1957 for organizing the United Nations Security forces to resolve the Suez Canal crisis
1908-1974 - Amy Vanderbilt, US author who wrote the Complete book of etiquette
1943-1983 - Walter Scott, vocalist for the In-men who were a St. Louis based Rock N' Roll Band
1962-2003 - Ivan Calderon was a Puerto Rican baseball player; he was murdered in a bar, shot seven times in the back of the head.
1956-2010-Teena Marie, known as 'Ivory queen of soul' dies, one of the most successful white singers of soul, she died on December 26 and her death seems to be of natural causes
Norman Schwarzkopf August 22, 1934 – December 27, 2012-was a United States Army General who, , while he served as Commander of U. S. Central Command, was commander of the coalition forces in the Gulf War.
