Would A Worm Go On A Walk? Review 7/12/2016

Very cute book that my niece will really love. And the answer no a worm would not go on a walk (at least not in Florida) cause the sun will dry him up. The illustrations in this book are fantastic and colorful. The best part of this book is how it teaches younger children creation in a simple and fun way.

Unashamed Healing Our Brokenness and Finding Freedom From Shame 7/9/2016

We live in a society filled with shame. God is always there to forgive us, but many are not willing to bring their shame to God. This book by Heather Davis Nelson shows us how to bring our shame to Jesus and allow Him to remove it from our lives.

I believe our world is like it is because many of us (including Christian's) keep all of our shame inside and do not bring it to Jesus. I had a friend who died from cancer years ago. He was a great Christian man, gospel music writer and a great example to me. During those last days, he struggled with his past in the Mafia and constantly told me he did not deserve to go to Heaven. If we count on ourselves to go to Heaven, none of us will make it. Heather shows us to bring our shame to Jesus, he will take it from us and heal us from within.

This book was cool for a middle-aged man like myself. At my age, you look at the past and find all kinds of things you can be ashamed of. I'm learning to bring everything to Jesus because none of us are strong enough (by ourselves) to deal with all of it. Great book that leads you to Jesus, who will help you heal from everything you are dealing with in your personal life.
