Searching for the Perfect Shave

Getting a smooth shave is really only half the battle when it comes to shaving. Anyone can take a razor to their face and get that baby face shave to the touch of someone else, but getting the best shave of your life with little to no irritation is something that most men struggle with. There are a lot of reasons that men struggle to shave without irritation, but most of the time the reasons fall into one of two categories: either they don’t use proper shave technique or they don’t use proper shaving gear. This article will discuss the most important things that any man can do to remedy either of these problems.

How to Shave Like a Man

To get the perfect shave, you will need to first study your face a little and take note of the direction your hair tends to grow. In many cases, men shave against the grain of their beards because it leads to a cleaner shave in less time, but it also causes more irritation because of the abrasive nature of pushing hair back before it is cut. The solution is to shave with the grain, but use multiple strokes. This will take longer, and may require applying cream more than once, but is well worth it in the end.

Invest in Good Gear

The other important aspect in getting a smooth shave is buying quality shaving gear that doesn’t promote or cause skin irritation. One common mistake that men make all the time is buying their shave gear from their local grocery or convenience store. These locations really don’t know the first thing about shaving technology, so if you really want to solve the problem you should visit a specialty shave shop to purchase razors, cream and other accessories. One of the best investments you can make is in a quality shave kit that includes disposable safety razor heads and a badger brush with shave soap. With the right gear, you can avoid ingrown hairs, razor burn, and even dry skin that are all caused by using inferior shave products.

Kyle Teaches Us How To Cook

Kyle decided he was going to make his own breakfast. He toasted two pieces of bread. Put ham slices and cheese slices on the bread, then he put it in the microwave for 40 seconds and came up with his own delicious version of a Cuban Sandwich, he calls his sandwich the cheesy breakfast sandwich. It is delicious
I ate one of these for breakfast and it was delicious.....

Old School Workout Gear

Today's workout will be with old school workout gear. I am using an older BowFlex without all the tools and older version of perfect pushups. They both work great for an older exercise person like myself. I picked both up at yard sales. The Bowflex cost me ten bucks and the perfect pushups were a dollar.

Roger's Family Coffee Company Review and Giveaway 8/19/2013

I remember (as a little boy) waking up to the smell of coffee and toast. My grandmother would start off her mornings off the same every day. The doctor told her to change her diet, but she refused and lived happily to the age of 88. She actually outlived two doctors who told her she had to watch her weight. I didn't drink much coffee as a little boy, but I grew up loving the smell of it.

When I became an adult, I loved both the smell and taste of coffee. Part of it could be my last name is Coffie or I just love the taste of good coffee. Lucky for me, Raymond of Rogers Family Company decided he would let me try some of their coffee.
San Francisco Bay Coffee
We had the privilege of trying San Francisco Bay Coffee's. The coffee's we tried were Breakfast Blend, Hawaiian Blend, Colombian Blend and Fog Chaser. As soon as I opened the package, I knew I would love this coffee. The aroma coming from the packaged box was fantastic. I made a pot of the Breakfast Blend coffee and drank it black. You must try delicious coffee black to see the real quality of the coffee. This coffee is delicious and is filled with great coffee. I invited my sister to come down from New York to try a cup, but she was busy. My brother will fly here to Florida on Saturday and I will let him enjoy some of this fine coffee too.

Breakfast Blend Coffee

Our most popular Central and South American beans perfectly blended to yield a delicious, satisfying coffee to look forward to in the morning.

Fog Chaser Coffee

A blend of our favorite coffees to lift away the morning "fog." Central and South American coffees, all choice, high grown, and hand picked. The result is full bodied and well balanced -- a real eye-opener!

Hawaiian Blend Coffee

Imagine yourself on your Hawaiian lanai at sunset - palm trees gently blowing in the trade winds, coffee cup in hand. Like a vacation in paradise, our Hawaiian Blend is both relaxing and invigorating. It is a skillful blend that combines sweet chocolate notes with a sharp finish. Aloha!

Colombian Supremo Coffee

Colombian is one of the finest and perhaps most popular coffees in the world - a recognized name synonymous with quality coffee. Our 100% Colombian Supremo is the very best that Colombia has to offer. A full-bodied coffee with a mild, almost sweet taste.

Professional Pet Nail Clippers Review

Make trimming your dog's nails easier and safer with the superior performance of the Epica Pet Nail Clipper. Both you and your pet will appreciate the difference!
Top Quality Stainless Steel Construction
Made with high grade stainless steel, these durable clippers won't bend, scratch or rust, and the blades will stay sharp through many sessions on tough dog nails.
Precise Cutting for Health and Comfort
Sharp blades let you work faster, with less effort, and cut the nail cleanly without ragged edges that have to be filed. If your dog is skittish about the process, this will make both of your lives happier. Plus, you'll be more likely to keep his nails trimmed, allowing him to walk comfortably and helping prevent damage to your floors and furniture.
Sized for Medium and Large Dog Breeds
Correct spacing of the blades is important for effective and safe use. These clippers are designed specifically for medium size dogs such as collies, bulldogs, sheepdogs and spaniels, and large dogs such as German shepherds, golden retrievers, rottweilers, dalmatians, great Danes and Irish setters.
Safety Lock
When they're not in use, the Epica clippers can be locked with the blades in the closed position. This safety feature ensures that you won't accidentally cut yourself when taking them out of the drawer, and that the blades won't damage or be damaged by other items they're stored with.
Secure Grip Rubber Coated Handles
Excessive hand strength is not necessary to operate the Epica clippers. The handles are shaped to fit your fingers and coated with anti-slip rubber so there's no need to hold them in a tiring, super-tight grip. Simply grasp them normally as you apply pressure, with no worries about slipping, sliding or accidentally hurting your pet.

We love our pets. We have three cats, three dogs, some birds and a bunch of fish. Our one dog is afraid of our pet nail clippers. There is a buzzing that comes from the clippers that freaks our dog out. When we had the chance to review these professional pet nail clippers, we jumped at the chance. We believe our pets deserve the best.

These professional pet nail clippers work great and my little dog is not afraid of them. I like that the nail clippers cut easily and perfectly. They make a clean cut each and every time. This wasn't always true with the other nail clippers I used on our pets. These professional pet nail cutters do everything they promise to do. I am glad we were able to use them and review them. I believe my pets are just as happy, especially our cute little puppy.

Groove Kid Nation "Rhythm Bears" -- Children's Music CD Review

Groove Kid Nation continues its award-winning music education series with a third release Rhythm Bears. Producer Rodney Lee once again recruits top L.A. musicians and heads deep into the woods to create a soulful folk hoedown.

As the title suggests, Rhythm Bears is all about drawing kids into the music with rhythmic call and response games that will have them clapping, stomping, playing percussion, and vocalizing to the beat.

In addition, a band of groovy bears open childrens’ ears to a whole new set of musical instruments including harmonica, fiddle, acoustic guitar, acoustic bass, clarinet, kalimba, ukulele, and even didgeridoo. Each song features a new instrument, and the enclosed 10-page booklet features colorful illustrations of each Rhythm Bear.

This CD is not just your ordinary, heard-it-a-thousand-times children's songs.  Each song in the Rhythm Bears gets the listener involved.  It asks them to use their mouths, feet, hands, etc. to be musical instruments.  I love watching my children get involved with the songs, it seems to really get them excited and happy!  The songs get them thinking.  They sing about things that would be a preschooler minds.  We all know how curious they are and they have a question for everything.  My kids LOVE listening to the cool songs on this CD.  The Groove Kids Nation has a very relaxing sound that will not drive parent's crazy.  It's jazzy and trendy, something you'd find playing in your corner coffeehouse. The kids love listening to the music, singing with it and laughing to it. The CD is fun and both my kids love it. Sadly for us, the radio in the car buzzed out, so we have to listen to the CD in my truck.

You want your kids to listen to different, but fun music that gets them involved, look below and connect with Groove Kid Nation on the web and on Facebook. We have listened to many annoying CD's that are not something I would want my kids to hear. This CD plays the type of music I want my kids to hear and gets them involved with music. My son is nine and he already sings in the shower.....

Those Great Faith Images You Have Been Looking For

I don't know about you, but I have always had a problem finding the perfect image to accompany my posts, especially posts that deal heavily with matters of faith.  Yes, iStock, DepositPhotos, etc. have some faith based images but your choices are limited and not always appropriate.  This is whereLightStock comes in.
Lightstock makes it simple to find beautiful, non-staged faith-focused images for you to use on your blog.  Lightstock only uses images that meet the following requirements:
  1. Shot by a follower of Christ
  2. Visibly faith oriented
  3. Invisibly highlights God's glory, goodness and mission for His creation
Awesome, right?!
One of the features I like most about LightStock is their collections.  A collection is a set of images that all convey the same message.  So if I wanted to see all images about Sunday school, I can check the "Children's Church" collection and see all images that fit that topic.  Makes it super easy to quickly browse images on a specific topic.
Here are some other highlights:
Cheesy-Free
You know how hard it is to find real-world images of small groups or communion. It's even tougher to find non-cliché nativity or resurrection photography. Lightstock eases your pain and gets you images without the stereotypes.
Temptation-Free Searching
Tired of seeing sexually suggestive images on stock sites? Me too. LightStock guarantees a safe-searching platform free of temptation.
Download = New Testament
With each photo downloaded, LightStock donates a New Testament to share the gospel. They are more than a website, they are a ministry helping to spread the good news of Jesus.
The people at LightStock have agreed to giveaway 3 faith focused images to one of our readers!  So be looking for that giveaway in the coming days.
In the meantime, go visit LightStock and pick out that image you need for your next blog post!
