Famous People Who Died On December 19

Dying is just like taxes in the respect that it is going to happen to you and me. Over history, we realize it doesn't matter who you are, you are going to face death. Famous people have no secret weapon against death. They are just like you and I. They will die. We will die. Death is a part of life. However, many of us look forward to eternal life in Heaven. After we all pass from this world, I hope to meet each one of you in a better place called Heaven.

1916-2010-Phil Cavarretta died on Friday December 17 at the age of 94, Phil Cavarretta won the National League MVP in 1945. Phil Cavarretta was a Major League baseball player who played most of his career with the Chicago Cubs.
1748-1814 - Joseph Bramah, Inventor and Locksmith, notably invented the beer pump and the hydraulic press, he designed a lock of his own
1864-1915 - Alvis Alzheimer German neurologist (Alzheimer Disease), he identified the first case of Alzheimer's disease
1868-1953 - Robert A Millikan, US physicist who won the Nobel prize in psychics for his measurement of the charge of the electron and his work on the photoelectric effect.
1854-1959 - Walter Williams claimed to be last survivor of Civil War, dies at 117?, his birthdate is unsure and his claim to be the last survivor of the Civil War has been contested
1884-1968 - Norman Thomas was the founder (ACLU) or called National Civil Liberties Bureau when he founded it/Socialist Party (1926-55), dies at 84, six time presidential candidate for the Socialist Party of America
1876-1977 - Nellie Tayloe Ross 1st woman governor, dies at 101, director of the United States Mint from 1933-1953, was a big supporter of Prohibition
1923-1986 - V. C. Andrews, American author who wrote gothic horror/family Saga novels, she died of breast cancer.
1946-1993 - Michael Clarke was the drummer for the (Byrds-1960's rock group), dies of liver failure at 49 from three decades of heavy drinking
1997 - Masaru Ibuka was the co-founder of Sony Corporation, he was a Japanese electronic industrialist
1951-2009 - Kim Peek was an American prodigious savant and inspiration for the 1988 film Rain Man, he was the character Raymond Babbit played by Dustin Hoffman in Rain Man
