Famous People Who Died On December 11

Dying is just like taxes in the respect that it is going to happen to you and me. Over history, we realize it doesn't matter who you are, you are going to face death. Famous people have no secret weapon against death. They are just like you and I. They will die. We will die. Death is a part of life. However, many of us look forward to eternal life in Heaven. After we all pass from this world, I hope to meet each one of you in a better place called Heaven.

Don Meredith Died on Sunday at the age of 72, Meredith was a former quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys and worked in the booth on MNF.

1902-1971 - Maurice "Mac" McDonald, American fast-food pioneer, you can thank this guy for your big belly
1900-1994 - Philip Phillips, American archaeologist, his first archaeological dig was on Iroquois sites, but he specialized in the Mississippian culture, was appointed curator of Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology at Harvard in 1937.
1914-1996 - W G G Duncan-Smith, fighter pilot, British Royal Air Force Second World War Flying Ace, was credited with 17 confirmed kills, was awarded the Distinguished Service Order and Bar and the Distinguished Flying Cross
1890-2006 - Elizabeth Bolden, American, oldest verified person in the world at the time of her death
1923-2008 - Bettie Page, American model, famous pinup model, Miss January 1955 Playmate of the Month for Playboy magazine
