day two upside down tomato plant kit by Buzzy

Kyle, Khloe and I planted an upside down tomato grow kit by Buzzy. We followed the directions and planted the seeds within fifteen minutes. We decided to hang out upside down tomato kit on an oak tree in the front yard. We are supposed to water the plant everyday.

Today is day two, mother nature decided to water the plant for us. We were hit with a pretty big storm and it was windy. Out upside down tomato kit survived the downpour and the rain. We will update you on this experiment in the coming weeks and send pictures if we get any tomatoes. We paid 2 dollars for this kit at a yard sale, so here's to crossing our fingers.

Yard Sale Hopping

We went to a bunch of yard sales today. Got some cool stuff, but it was very hot and tired us out. We got a bunch of dominos for the kids. We got Uno cards for ten cents and two regular packs of cards for a dime each. My sixteen year old daughter bought six pairs of shoes and some clothing.

Yesterday, somebody sold me eight blue-ray movies for just five bucks. I will sell them on eBay and hope to make forty bucks out of them. I also bought the Indiana Jones DVD set for two bucks. This year looks like a good year for yard sales

Garage Sale Finds The Week of December 10, 2011

We took a drive through the neighborhood and we found book for my 5 and 7 year old children to read for their school. I was able to get 25 good children's books for 5 dollars-many of them were Schoolastic books

My son loves Star Wars, so this was a great yard sale for him

We have a thing for the Friend's series, we picked up season 1 and 2 in mint condition for 2 dollars apiece

and the Jurassic Park Trilogy for two dollars. All in all it was a great yard sale day, but there were also those yard sales out there that should have been called junk sales
