The Walking Dead Have Infected The Rays And Tropicana Field

If you are like I am, you are looking forward to the new season of the Walking Dead which is just around the corner in October. If you can't wait, you are in luck. Have you checked out Tropicana Field and the Rays lately? The Walking Dead have infected the Rays and Tropicana Field.

I'm not sure when it all began. The Rays vs. Red Sox series was supposed to be one of the highlights of the years. The Red Sox decided to give their players away and the Rays have become zombies in MLB uniforms. To make matters worse, the fans have stayed away from Tropicana Field because they know about the infection. They would rather watch the action on television (at home) where they are protected from the spreading disease.

The few fans who show up, walk into Tropicana Field at a slow steady pace. Each one competing with the next to get on the popular television show. After six or seven innings, the fans become zombies right in front of your eyes. They have spent three hours watching their team go through the motions one more time. They have nothing to cheer about except maybe one or two hits that find their way through the infield and die in a field of dreams.

The most action in the series (thus far) was when Alex Cobb went after Jose Molina. I really thought he was going to bite that guy, but he was pushed back by wooden sticks and a mob in baseball uniforms. Suddenly, everything went back to normal. No blood, not guts and no action.

It is a shame the Walking Dead infected the Rays and Tropicana Field. It was a good season until the zombies took over Joe Maddon and his Rays. No manager of the year for this guy this time. At least he will be able to spend the off season watching our favorite show, The Walking Dead. Somebody should have told the Rays that October is zombie season, not September....

The Walking Dead Season 3 Begins In October

The Walking Dead Season 3 will begin in October on AMC. This season, The Governor will be introduced on the television show. The Governor is a villain on the Walking Dead. David Morrissey has been cast to play the ultimate villain The Governor. For those of you have checked out the comic books, you know much more about The Governor than I do. 


I was turned on to The Walking Dead through the television show. The guys at work told me they read the comic books, I never heard of them. Everything that happens is a surprise to me and this is a part of the show that makes it more exciting at least for me.


"In a nutshell The Governor is the leader of a large group of survivors and in Season 3 of The Walking Dead he will bring pain and suffering to the Grimes family and Rick will regret the day that they ever crossed paths." (moviesonline.ca)


Don't forget the end of season 2 when we saw the cool zombie slayer Michionne . She will be in Season 3 and things will continue to get better and better. If you are like me, you cannot wait to see the new season of The Walking Dead. This is likely the reason I am talking about it in May when it doesn't start again until October. If you are a fine like I am you hope The Walking Dead will be around for many more seasons. Is it October yet?

Five Finger Tees Review Rick Grimes For President 2012

Five Finger Tees sent me a T-shirt of my choice. I chose the Rick Grimes For President 2012 T-shirt. The t-shirt is cool and very comfortable. It fits perfect and is obviously high quality. This shirt is now one of my favorite t-shirts.

Who is Rick Grimes? Rick Grimes is the lead character and Sheriff on the Walking Dead television show. Of course, this is one of my favorite shows and I love his character. If you watched the second season, you know it ended wild and Rick Grimes acted a bit on the crazy side. Should be a great fall when the show comes back on television.

Would I really vote Rick Grimes for President if he was a real person and not just a television character. Rick Grimes kills zombies and watches out for his people. I think he would make a great President of the United States.

The Walking Dead Zombie Doctor Costume For Men From Costume Discounters Review

Costume Discounters sent me the Walking Dead Zombie Doctor Costume for men to review. I am a big fan of the Walking Dead television show on AMC, so this was a pleasure for me. I usually go trick or treating with my children during Halloween, but I never wear a costume. This year I will be a zombie, so watch out.

As you can see, I am wearing no make-up in the photo. During Halloween, I will wear make-up to complete the costume and I will look closer to this. I am sure I have a messed up pair of jeans, that will do the trick.


The costume came to my house quickly and I couldn't wait to open it up. I tried the costume on and found out it was snug, but comfortable. It fit well and looks good. I'm guessing I will likely be a pretty scary zombie next Halloween.

Suddenly, I found myself hungry for flesh. All I could find was my cat and he was pretty scared of me. I am not sure if it is the costume or my spooky acting. Either way, he was a good test for my future as a zombie. Watch out kids, here I come. My son saw the wound on the front of the costume and he jumped back. It actually scared him, so I had him feel the wound. He finally realized it was not a real wound, but part of the costume.

The costume is realistic and looks good. I am impressed with the design and the reaction even my wife gave to me. I'm not sure if I will wear it while watching The Walking Dead tonight, but that is not likely. The family might think I completely lost my marbles.

The Death of Dale Horvath on The Walking Dead

If you are like me, you are a fan of the television series The Walking Dead on AMC. I'm the parent who stays up after the kids are asleep to watch the zombie show. I believe it is a cool and creep show. This week, Dale Horvath was killed by a zombie. Dale was the old guy who had the camper. He was the guy who believed in saving human lives in a world where zombies ruled.

The rest of this show is going to be interesting because one of the most conservative members of the zombie survivors is gone. Dale was shot in the head to put him out of misery because the zombie opened up his innards and made it impossible for him to survive. His friends must now live without him, live with the thought they caused his death and live with the realization that they had to put their friend out of his misery. Hopefully, they will burn his body, so he won't come back as a zombie and cause them to have to kill him a second time.

Luck for me, I was asked to review a costume on CostumeDiscounters.com. I will be a Walking Dead zombie next Halloween when I accompany my children as they trick or treat. This is the costume I will be reviewing. I look forward to it. If I stop by your house, please don't shoot me.
