Strange Happenings Surround The Pacquiao Bradley Fight

By now, everybody knows about the strange outcome of the Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley Fight. Pacquiao threw and landed the most punches, landed the most powerful punches and won nearly every round of the fight. The judges turn the world upside down by awarding Timothy Bradley the fight and Manny Pacquiao's belt. This was only one of the strange happenings that surrounded the Pacquiao Bradley fight.

  1. Timothy Bradley had posters of the Pacquiao vs. Bradley rematch in November before the two fighters stepped into the ring Saturday night. It makes many boxing fans wonder if the fix was on in the Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley fight.
  2. Timothy Bradley talked to Bob Arum after the fight and before the decision.  "Can you believe that? Unbelievable," Arum said. "I went over to Bradley before the decision and he said, 'I tried hard but I couldn't beat the guy.'" (The Associated Press)
  3. "Ringside punching statistics showed Pacquiao landing 253 punches to 159 for Bradley, who vowed before the fight to take the 147-pound title from Pacquiao. The Compubox statistics showed Pacquiao landing more punches in 10 of the 12 rounds." (Associated Press)
  4. Manny Pacquiao seemed to take the decision in stride. He knew he won the fight, but he is a sportsman and respected the decision. Some people believe this means Pacquiao may have had a part in the fix, but I see it differently. Pacquiao recommitted himself to God and believes God is now more important than his boxing career.
  5. Vegas gave 200-1 odds directly after the fight if Bradley won the fight. They were so sure Pacquiao won the fight they gave incredible odds and would up losing big because Bradley was given the decision. (Frontrowfights.com)
  6. All three judges had the same 115-113 scores, two for Bradley and one for Pacquiao. This could have some significance if the fight was fixed. If the judges were bought and were told to vote with a particular score to make the fight look closer than it was.
  7. Bob Arum is the promoter for both fighters. He makes money off both fighters and he is licking his licks for the rematch.  Yahoo! Sports ‏@YahooSports
"This is a death knell for boxing, & I’m going to make a ton of money on the rematch – Bob Arum
    via @KevinI"
  8. Timothy Bradley walks out of the ring with Pacquiao's belt knowing he lost the fight. It takes a lot of guts to steal another man's belt. Bradley should have given the belt back to Pacquiao and saved boxing a lot of trouble. He saw the dollar signs and they were more important than his dignity. He is later seen in a wheel chair with two broken ankles, if this is the truth.
  9. The entire world is talking about boxing like never before. Everybody is saying they will never watch boxing again. Boxing is getting more publicity than it deserves. We are becoming part of the problem.
  10. Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s family are angry at the decision and they don't even like Manny Pacquiao. Who would ever think Mayweather Jr. or his family would ever stick up for the Pac-Man?
Was this fight fixed? All of the facts lead to a fix. Somebody made a ton of money off this fight and they are laughing their way to the bank. Do you want to do something to help boxing and overturn this horrible decision. Go here to

Manny Pacquiao Gets Robbed By Three Clueless Judges

Manny Pacquiao gets robbed by three clueless judges and loses a split-decision to Timothy Bradley in Las Vegas. Pacquiao dominated Bradley in nearly every round and hurt the fighter at least three times in the fight. Manny Pacquiao landed the most punches, hit Bradley with nearly 100 more power punches and hurt the fighter who left the ring with his belt. Manny Pacquiao did everything right in this fight. He controlled the fight, landed the best shots, hurt the other fighter and showed sportsmanship when the judges took his belt away.

Where does this leave boxing?

Those in the capacity crowd at the MGM Grand Garden Arena rained downed boos when the decision was read. Millions of boxing fans left their television in disgust when Manny Pacquiao lost his belt to Timothy Bradley. The sad thing is Bradley and his trainers also knew he lost this fight. This was the worst decision in boxing history. We all know it and it is time to do something about it.

Boxing and booing has become synonymous over the years. Boxing is filled with corruption and the judges do not know as much as they should about the sport they are judging. In my opinion, boxing is dead. It was laid to rest tonight when Timothy Bradley was given a decision over the champion who dominated him through the entire fight. The judges are corrupt and so are the promoters. The only thing left for boxing is who can make the most money before the die-hard boxing fans turn their noses at the sport and call foul.

We hoped for Pacquiao vs. Mayweather Jr. for the longest time and it has been tainted on a night like tonight. There will no longer be a Pacquiao vs. Mayweather Jr. because what's the use. The two fighters could fight their hearts out for twelve rounds and three corrupt judges will decide who they want to win, not necessarily who actually won the fight.

I will no longer watch boxing, this tainted decision has made up my mind for good. Manny Pacquiao was robbed and I feel like I was robbed right along with him. Millions of fans paid a pay per view fee and in the end every one of them were robbed. The only thing that could have saved boxing tonight is if Timothy Bradley took the belt and put it where it belonged, in the hands of the true champion, Manny Pacquiao. Instead, he went along with the corruption and took a belt he did not earn. Shame on him and the judges who gave him a championship belt he did not deserve.

Survivor Philippines: For Real!

If you are a Survivor fan, you know that the 25th season of Survivor will be set in the Philippines. If you are Filipino, you are extra excited. The Philippines looks a lot like Hawaii and is located many miles away from the United States. The Survivor crew will have to fly as far as 10,000 miles to get there depending where they leave the United States. Survivor will be held in the islands of Caramoan in Camarines Sur, Bicol Region.

My wife is Filipino, she is from Cebu. We built a house in Cebu a couple of years ago and we love to visit the Philippines. The Philippines is known for friendly people, beautiful sites, Manny Pacquiao and now Survivor. It looks like this season of Survivor will be interesting. There will be three tribes and they will be living in an area that is loaded with cobras and wild animals on the land and a sea that is infested by man eating sharks. I look forward to this year of Survivor, it should be fun.

To our Filipino friends, watch this show if you get a chance. Your country will be on television every week. You get to show off your incredible country to the world. After Survivor, there will be a ton of people who know a whole lot more about the Philippines. They will see how beautiful it really is.
