Health Concerns You Need To Pay Attention To On Your Trip To The Dominican Republic

My wife decided to book the family on a six night all inclusive trip to the Dominican Republic. The Riu Bambu is a five star resort, so I didn't think we had to prepare for any health concerns. I was wrong, wrong, wrong.

They tell you not to drink the water when you go to Mexico, that's true in the Dominican Republic too. Don't forget to use bottled water to brush your teeth. Of course, you are going to take a shower and wash your hands in this tainted water. Prepare for that. I suggest you bring any medicine you will think you will need and put it into your luggage. Two major things I suggest you bring, Pepto Bismo and antibiotics. Of course you need to bring any of the normal meds you take on a daily basis. I would also suggest bringing wet wipes to wipe off your hands.

This is what happened to us on our six night stay at The five star Riu Bambu in the Dominican Republic. On the second day, I woke up with diarrhea. It was so bad, I even had blood coming out. I went to the pharmacy to buy some Pepto Bismo, the guy told me 15 US dollars for a 4 ounce bottle. I negotiated this down to ten. That was the start of our health concerns. Each day I got a little sicker, until I began to wake up in the middle of the night gagging up dark colored phlegm. It was horrible. It is really hard to enjoy a trip when you can hardly stand up. On the second to last day, I lifted up the sofa bed ( I was sleeping on). The entire bottom of this bed was filled with mold. These beds do not fold into sofas, so I never thought to check during the rest of the week. The problem is I am dangerously allergic to mold.

We decided to try the doctor. They did not accept US health insurance and charged 180 dollars just to see the doctor. This did not include any meds. This from a country where the average Joe only makes sixty dollars a month. We decided to skip the dr. and waited to we got back home. Once we found the mold, the resort moved us, but it was too late. I was a mess.

When we got home, I went straight to the dr. She said I was lucky to not have pneumonia, but I did have Bronchitis mixed with an upper respiratory infection. I was put on antibiotics and two inhalers to fight the sickness caused by a mold in a five star resort. If I would have brought antibiotics and inhalers, I would have been in better shape.

Learn from my mistake. It does not matter if you are staying in a five star resort, bring all the medications you will need with you or you will pay the hard way.

Instacart Registration Review

As a stay at home father, who works around the entire family's schedule, I have been trying to find a variation of delivery jobs to pay the bills. I have been told about a couple of shopping companies that pay you to deliver groceries to people. Instacart is one of them.

It was easy to sign up for Instacart. You download their app and fill out the application directly through it. You have to pretty much let them know everything about you because you are going to deliver groceries to people. They have to make sure you are the person you say they are. You take pics of yourself, your license, front and back. You fill out forms which are agreements between you and the company. You hook up your bank account to them for payment. You also agree to go through a background check.

Instacart does not have fantastic reviews. However, I have worked for some companies who get horrible reviews and part of the problem is the workers, not the company. I am not sure. I will go through the process and let you know what happens.

I am hoping to make some cash and get a real look into this company. Are they legitimate enough to give them my time and effort? I also hope to give information to people that is real information. No complaining, just real facts.

I have over twenty years of delivery experience and I will be able to tell the truth about Instacart in no time. Right now I am waiting for the background check and their shopping card. More information coming soon.

Stay tuned for reviews on both Amazon Flex and Uber in the near future.

I don't know about you, but I have enjoyed the rush of great Christian movies in the past few years. This movie looks the same. Instead of a world view, we have a view of Parenting from the Bible. Look at the world around you, look at the children. What is missing? We have a lack of good parents, good parents that follow what the Bible says about raising our children. This movie and the Bible will show you the way.

Tips for Finding High Quality Pet Products

Tips for Finding High Quality Pet ProductsHaving a pet can bring you much joy and greatly enhance your life. Owning an animal is also a big responsibility because it will be depending on you for food, water, grooming, exercise and medical care if it gets injured or sick. Therefore, you must take your responsibility as a pet owner very seriously. There are many products you will need to buy if you are a pet owner. For example, you will need to buy toys for a cat to play with and a leash to prevent your dog from running away. You will also need to buy the most nutritious food that you can find. This will help to ensure that your pet stays healthy. Here are a few tips that will help you to find a good place to buy all of the various pet products you need.
1. Does the store or website back up all the products they sell with a warranty? You should never buy any pet product unless you are certain that it includes a warranty. This will ensure that you will not need to pay for its repair or replacement if it breaks or stops working properly. Only do business with a pet product store or website that has the confidence in their products to cover them with a long warranty. Make sure you totally understand the specific terms of the warranty. Ask the store to explain the warranty if you are not sure about some of the details.
2. How much will you need to pay for shipping if you decide to buy your pet products online? There are a variety of websites that will allow you to shop for fish food online. However, you always need to be very careful how much these sites charge to ship your products to you. Some will offer free shipping. Others might require you to spend a certain amount of money before they will ship your items for free. It is also common for websites to charge a flat shipping fee. Be certain that you understand how the site's shipping fee has been calculated. This will prevent you from getting ripped off and paying too much for shipping.
3. Only buy the brands that you have heard of with the best reputation.Brands definitely matter when you are buying pet products. Do not buy cheap and generic pet products that are low quality just to save a little money. It would be in your best interests to spend a little more on pet products that are made by the name brands. These will last much longer and give you a great deal of value for the money you are spending. They will be a better investment in the long run.

Check Out Paul Apostle Of Christ Movie

PAUL, APOSTLE OF CHRIST

In PAUL, APOSTLE OF CHRIST , Luke risks his life to visit Paul, who is held captive in a Roman prison under Nero’s rule. Together, they struggle against a determined emperor and the frailties of the human spirit in order to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ and spread their message to the world.

1. Paul’s letters and writings were vital to the spreading of Christianity, and became a large part of the New Testament.  Our story focuses on how, despite persecution and peril, they shared Jesus’ message of love, redemption and forgiveness with a small community of believers who in turn, took it to the whole world.
2.

Great pains were taken to maintain biblical accuracy.  Using scripture as the only reference, director Andrew Hyatt recreated the story of Paul on film, including the close relationship with Luke, whom at the end of Paul’s life, at his own peril, traveled in and out of the prison carrying Paul’s writings to the community of believers

The MPAA has rated the film PG-13 for some violent content and disturbing images

Running time is 1:47 min

In Theaters Nationwide Week Before Easter Friday, March 23, 2018.

ADDITIONAL THOUGHTS/TALKING POINTS

• A visually stunning, historically-based film that brings to life the story of Paul, who went from becoming the most notorious persecutor of the Church to its most powerful proponent among the nations outside Judea.
• Two very different men are bound together by their love for Christ. As each of them realize that Rome has been overtaken by Nero’s evil at the same time their lives are drawing to a close, they struggle to finish their races and leave behind a book of lasting importance for the millions who will follow Christ in generations to come.
• Two themes found in Paul, Apostle of Christ, are relevant today:

• First, we are surrounded by evil, which can strike suddenly and without cause.

Second, we can all learn from Paul and Luke: Love is the only answer For Tickets
