Kudo Knife Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

In South Africa, an inexpensive ring lock folder is sold everywhere. It’s a good design, but it’s constructed from sub-standard materials, is poorly made, and is horribly overpriced. And yet, millions of these knives are sold there each year. Well, we thought we could do better, in the quality of materials, cutting performance, and in price.

The Cold Steel Kudu, takes some cues from its South African competition, but our version is vastly superior. Ours has a Krupp 4116 Stainless steel flat ground blade, heat treated to Rc 56-57 for better edge holding ability and ease of re-sharpening, and a thin razor sharp edge.
For safety, we have thoroughly tested the locking mechanism and are well satisfied it will hold the blade rigidly open until you decide to close it by pulling up on the ring attached to the back spring.
The handle of the Kudu also reflects our dedication to making an effective and affordable folder. It’s made of 43% glass reinforced Zytel®. This material has proven to be extremely strong, and is stiff enough to compliment the blade and spring when locked open. Plus, the gripping surface has a wood grain texture for traction and features an attractive polished steel Kudu horn emblem for a little extra flair! We think the Kudu represents an unbelievable value. It’s ready for anything and makes a wonderful work knife, utility knife, bait knife, or hunting knife.
Blade: 4 1/4"
Overall: 10"
Thick: 2mm
Weight: 2.4 oz.

This was the information about the knife. The knife came in the mail and I was excited. I didn't read the insert, so I had trouble opening and closing the knife. I decided to read the insert and figured it out quite easily. When you get this knife, make sure you read the insert, so you are able to open and close the knife.

Here's what I like about this knife. The size is perfect. It is a solid and sharp knife that works perfectly. The pull thing takes a bit to get used to, but when you get the hang of it, it becomes much easier. This knife is razor sharp, looks cool and will make a great addition to your collection. The weight is also perfect.

I was impressed with the communications from the company and the fast shipping. Now we have a knife like a South African knife, but much better. If you are looking for a good knife for when you go fishing or hunting, this one will fit perfectly into your pocket or gear. Check it out, you will love it.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Keeping In Shape Takes The Right Shoes

I like to hike all the time.  I also have a strange shoe size and it is hard to find clearance running shoes that fit me. That is why I have to do more investigation than most other people.  I go to the mall and have a really hard time finding what I want. I also go to sporting goods stores, but they are always overpriced and I have a hard time finding what I want.  Almost all the time, I find myself going online to find what I need when it comes to the shoes I want and need.
I will be turning fifty this year and I had a health scare last year. The doctor and I agreed that it would be a good idea for me to spend my time walking and hiking. I can’t run anymore because running is too hard for my body. I also like hiking because I love nature and it calms me down. I spend hours walking on trails and just thinking about life. I spend so much time in the outdoors; I find I need to buy the right pair of shoes or my feet will hurt.  I remember one time; the shoes were too tight that my little toe turned black and blue. The pain was horrible and it made it hard for me to continue my hikes.
I decided to go online to a place called "The Clymb" to see if they had what I needed. These guys have the shoes I need and the prices I want to pay. I like online shopping better because I can find everything I need on the site, pay for and receive it in the mail in a few days. No more going to the mail or the big sporting goods stores, only turning around without the shoes I need.

In less than a week, I have my new shoes and I am back to hiking every day. I no longer have to worry about sore feet and bruised toes. With the right fitting shoes, I am on my way and my feet are comfortable. If you are like me, you like hiking or walking. You also like good quality, good fitting shoes tat make your hike more fun.
