Do More For No More Ending Domestic Violence
Two Weeks upside down tomato plant kit by Buzzy
Kyle, Khloe and I planted an upside down tomato grow kit by Buzzy. We
followed the directions and planted the seeds within fifteen minutes. We
decided to hang out upside down tomato kit on an oak tree in the front
yard. We are supposed to water the plant everyday.
After two weeks, we have a bunch of upside down tomato seedlings popping out of our upside down tomato plant kit by Buzzy. I have no idea how the tomatoes will really grow, but this is fun. How in the world will this thing hold a heavy tomato? We will see in the coming weeks. I will also shoot some pictures when I actually find my camera.

Reading isn't just fundamental, it's CRITICAL
Reading is critical in today's world. Our children do not read enough because they are attracted by computer games, cell phones and television. I remember as a kid, each book I read was an adventure. I know I did not have all the distractions as the children do in today's world, but I grew to love reading books.
McNeill Designs wants its You've been Sentenced! card game -- already the winner of 23 national awards -- developed into
apps for mobile devices and interactive whiteboards. While the game was
designed for family-fun, it is inherently educational and our goal is
to have apps that can address family-fun but, more importantly,
facilitate educational use in the classroom. The funds raised here will
allow us to complete that goal. If this project becomes overfunded, we
will provide even greater enhancements for the games educational use so
we can hopefully reach more students and get them reading.
Illiteracy causes great social ills and costs our society tremendously, as you can see in our video. You've been Sentenced! is a simple game that makes it fun for students to want to learn to read and communicate effectively. It also provides a seriously hilarious learning method that helps increase retention. Please help us in our fight against illiteracy because reading is not just fundamental...it's critical!
Since sales of You've been Sentenced! began, a portion of the proceeds have gone to support Success Won't Wait! in their efforts to help fight illiteracy. www.SuccessWontWait.org

"You Didn't Build That" Lies From The White House
We are
fooled into believing politicians are supposed to lie to us. Politicians are
not supposed to lie to the people of the United States of America. Politicians
are voted in to their positions to serve the people. The problem is most
politicians are greedy and their agendas become more important than the people.
President Barack
Obama wants to
be reelected and seems to be willing to do anything to spend four more years in
the White House. This series will show you some of the lies he believes you and
I are dumb enough to swallow.
In an
election campaign speech delivered by President Barack Obama on 13 July 2012 (in Roanoke, Virginia), Obama stated
“You didn’t build that.” Here is the context of that speech, so you can see it
for yourself.
“There
are a lot of wealthy, successful Americans who agree with me – because they
want to give something back. They know they didn't – look, if you've been
successful, you didn't get there on your own. You didn't get there on your own.
I'm always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so
smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked
harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something – there are a whole bunch
of hardworking people out there. (Applause.)
If you were successful, somebody along
the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life.
Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that
allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you've got a
business – you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet
didn't get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so
that all the companies could make money off the Internet.
The point is, is that when we succeed, we succeed
because of our individual initiative, but also because we do things together.
There are some things, just like fighting fires, we don't do on our own. I
mean, imagine if everybody had their own fire service. That would be a hard way
to organize fighting fires.” (President Obama, Roanoke, Virginia July 2012).
The debate about the “You didn’t build that” statement will go on
through the Presidential election and beyond, but what Obama says is actually a
lie. President Obama is trying to tell us that all rich people owe the
government (in one way or another) for their success. They did not succeed on
their own because the government infrastructure helped them succeed. President Obama is trying to create a war
between the rich and the poor. He is trying to show us that all rich people owe
their success to the poor people who worked for them and the government that
should be able to control them.
President Obama’s statement seems simple until you actually soak it in
for a moment or two. He is trying to
show America that all success actually began within the government. The problem
and the lie with his statement are his administration and their lack of success.
The Obama administration relied on large government to get the job done. Look
at our deficit and the economy. Obama racked up a 6 trillion dollar debt
himself and he lost millions of American jobs. Then he turns around and tells
the rich they need to pay their fair share of taxes because they owe the
government for their success.
This “You didn’t build that” lie is intended to make the middle-class
and the poor angry at the rich for their success. In reality, many rich people create jobs in
this country and help the economy thrive. They do pay their share of taxes and
they succeed on their own. There are
many rich successful people who never made it through school, built their own
roads and succeeded on their own. The huge lie in President Obama’s statement
is he doesn’t tell us about all of the unneeded rules and regulations that have
destroyed many businesses in our country and have made it difficult for
businesses to succeed.
Obama’s lies have begun a war in America. He has pinned the rich
against the poor with his “You didn’t build that” statement. He wants the poor
and the middle-class to believe he has their back when he has his sucker punch
ready to hit you this January as he taxes all American’s. Yes, he will hit the rich harder, but you
better wake up and turn around now before that sucker punch hits you where it
hurts. That is (of course) if you are one of the lucky ones who still have a
job.
