This book tells the story of a family who has autistic children. My friend Doug has had three autistic children. He lost his little girl when she was eight, due to other medical problems. His oldest son can talk and does pretty well in life, he now lives in an adult home. Doug's youngest son is eighteen, six foot four, 265 pounds and he cannot talk. Doug's youngest son gets very frustrated with his disabilities and it really affects his behavior. I told Doug about this book, but he said he already lives the life and a book wouldn't help him. All families that have autistic children are affected in different ways and I learned they really have to learn patience.
