What to Buy: Car, Truck, or SUV

When you are in the market for a new vehicle, you may choose to get a reliable Cadillac ATS in Kansas City. Then again, you may want to choose a different Cadillac model, like an Escalade. Trying to choose between a car and SUV can be difficult. Each has their own positives and each has their own drawbacks. Take a minute to learn about each and it may help you in your Cadillac buying decision.

Cars

The vehicle pioneer, the car, has been a staple in the American way of life. From the first hand-cranked engines and open-air buggies that bounced down the dirt roads around town to the computer run specimens that cruise the paved interstate highways. Cadillac makes comfortable, luxury cars. You can choose from many different models that will provide a stellar ride and reliability. Cars are usually known for their large trunk space and higher miles per gallon than trucks or SUV’s. However, you won’t find many cars out mudding or four-wheeling, so if that is your cup of tea, stay away from cars.

SUV

A sports utility vehicle or SUV is a vehicle that is similar to a station wagon that is usually equipped with four-wheel drive. It can also have towing capacity. It is similar to a truck that has extra space for passengers. Many people choose SUV’s like Cadillac’s Escalade because of the dual purpose found within them. You get the rugged durability of a truck with the comfort and passenger friendliness of a car. SUV’s may not have a lot of cargo space and that can be a drawback. You can get a luggage rack for the top and put quite a bit up there. The other drawback can be the gas mileage. Thankfully, over the years, gas mileage has become better in SUV’s.

Winning Situation

No matter the choice whether you choose to buy an Escalade or Cadillac ATS in Kansas City, your informed decision will be the best possible. With a brand like Cadillac, you can’t go wrong. You just have to decide if you want a traditional car or an SUV.
